Great item is at a great price

So life like i need to touch it up close to remind myself it is fake zebra. Amazing it goes with every decor. It is soft easy to clean and quality worth the price. I bought large. It’s impressive.

I took a chance and purchased this rug when it was a brand-new, unreviewed item on Amazon, due to the price being so low (I apparently justified that it was a rare value to be snatched up, in consideration of the company’s intent to gather a customer base).I rarely write reviews, but I am now taking this time to provide others with the information that I would have appreciated knowing before I bought.The short version is that it is worth exactly what the price reflects.The backing is leather-like, but it is otherwise akin to a soft, felt, FLAT MAT that has a photo printed onto the surface. To be fair, it is a realistic image, and the coloring of the black/yellow version is accurate to that of an actual zebra, but this is where the similarities end. This mat has ZERO texture at all—the top is a smooth surface. No fibers whatsoever comparable to that of a cowhide.Now, if you are looking to add flourishes to a playhouse or dorm room—it might be precisely what you’re looking for. From a distance, or with other objects covering much of it, it does provide an element of whimsy that is youthful and interesting. In my opinion, this the extent of value that this product contributes.I hope this is helpful.

First let me say, I just love this rug! I took a star off only because of the issue. I initially laid the rug out and thought wow!But after laying it flat I returned to clean my basement from the hurricane, so it was flat unbothered for a few days and the creases were still heavy. So upon inspection, I noticed that parts of the creases were actually separating the top layer from the backing. Then I notice the edges are separating as well!ATTENTION: AMAZON DID satisfy the problem for me with a refund and I'll probably purchase another and take my chances! Urghhhh, I really LOVED this rug!

Beautiful colors elegant addition to the table. Worth the price

The media could not be loaded. Thin, printed, and ultimately bad quality. The plastic packaging was already damaged which I'd say was a reflection of what ultimately was to come after opening. After touching the rug itself, the texture feels like a large piece of polyester like suede. If you’re okay with having a picture versus a textured feel, then this is for you. What's more, is the pictures are deceiving. The description clearly says, " Premium Cowhide Rugs" and there is nothing premium about the item. I wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews of other customers, as it would have saved me the stress of returning. I don't consider the price point to be balanced with the quality either.
