Have a fosi V3 used to power a Dayton 300w bass shaker. It came with the 32v adapter which was fine but not getting the most out of my setup. Purchased this 48v adapter to up the power but I can't really tell the difference and would have kept the 32v. However this is not its main purpose and it's probably much better powering speakers with a nice pre amp setup.

As a couple of other reviewers have noted, this 48v upgrade on the 24v or 32v supplies that small digital amps come with, brings much added clarity. Definite improvement on a slightly recessed top end, and removed a sense of ‘compression’ on denser tracks.I wasn’t sure if it would be much of a difference and got ready for some A/B testing. As soon as I heard this power supply in action I knew I didn’t need to do an A/B, the improvement was that obvious. I am using an Aiyima 07 amp (came with 32v 5A supply) to drive KEF kht300 speakers (8 Ω).Very happy with this upgrade.

Its a very good power supply. Providing power to the Fosi Audio V3 it gave a nice warmer sound than others I have tried.

Does what is intended and that is to provide more voltage to an amplifier. Solid and quiet power!

I was very pleased with this purchase, only I had the unfortunate experience of the unit failing after 1 week of sporadic use. It must have developed a fault, because it blew a 3 amp fuse every time I inserted a new one, so had to be returned.I will, of course, be ordering another one straight away
