I little fussy to use but way better than buggering up an expensive wheel.

Great design & function: It protects my rims/wheels during installation/removal... Easy to use & performs according to the seller's description.

Sometimes it worked, other times it pinched right through and chewed up my wheels. Frustrating.

Irons split the material. Not good

If you actually change your own tires...on motorcycles in this case...you need these rim protectors. Don't try using pieces of scrap plastic, etc. These rim protectors fit securely to a wheel rim, and let you concentrate on working the tire levers while the protectors do their job.Five of these may seem like overkill, but when you're changing tires with stiff sidewalls, and need to lever the tires on a small section at a time, it's nice to not have to keep moving one or two protectors, as you're pulling the tire over. Five protectors ensure that you can have them positioned where you want them and not have to keep sliding them around.

i use these with my manual tire changer and they work great for how I mount and dismount tires. I like to use long tire irons and place these around the rim where I pry the tire using leverage against the rim. Without these protectors, the paint on the alloy rims would get chipped and scratched but these hold firm and protect the rim very well.

Too soft, they split and tire iron still got against wheel
