It's just O.K.
veneer is paper thin, routing for cables could have been bigger

Low Quality
Two stars at least for the very nice grain and the main cavities are routed. I got this in order to practice setting a bridge with no guides/ screw holes. All the hardware you put in, you have to figure it out and drill. That's what I wanted. What I didn't want, was a minor crack in the bottom end, but thats repairable. So I continued to prep, then stain the top. Once the stain was on, it showed glue residue in several places on the face of the body. Now I'm irritated, but moving on. I start to lightly scrape the top of the binding, and right at the corner it falls apart in one spot. I removed the tape that was set around the binding while I was staining it. With no tape covering the binding, I was then presented with more than one crumbled spot. ALL the way around the body, there were cracks in the binding made visible from the stain seeping in from the top. It looks like the binding was set with glue and not acetone. Now, I have to buy new binding, router the old binding off and replace it, which will obviously set me back on the time I planned to get this done. It's a pretty nice piece of wood, but don't plan on getting a quality guitar body to work with. A lot of extra work ahead of me.

Pickup spacing was wrong, but good body otherwise
The quality of the guitar body was very good, although the veneer was thinner than I would like. I would use this for the foundation of a great little guitar. However, the bottom pickup placement is too close to the neck and not like the picture on the listing. This will affect the sound and look of the guitar. It will also make it difficult to work with a bridge cut out for the humbucker or potential pickguards. I removed two stars for the pickup spacing which is a pretty big deal on a guitar. The finish and veneer on the body were otherwise very good. Hopefully, this is just a bad batch at my local distribution center.

Excellent guitar body!
Writing as someone who has built about half a dozen Chinese guitar kits that sell in the $180 - $280 range, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this body! Much better than the bodies that typically come with those kits. Nicely sanded, feels like it was sanded to at least 600 grit if not better, will only require some really fine sand paper (800 or 1000 or so? maybe that's overkill) to get it ready for finishing. I plan to do a sunburst stain over Tru-Oil. Neck pocket is just a bit too snug for my Mitey-Mite Tele neck, which is perfect, I'm fine with the minimal tweaking that will be necessary to get the setup spot-on and I like to have some extra wood to play with.I recommend!

Quality issues
The maple veneer is very thin and figure was non existent on left side. Base wood is very soft Fortunately, the seller is extremely cooperative and worked diligently to help resolve the issue. If I could rate customer service only it would be 5 stars. If you are expecting a Fender-quality body, you’ll need to pay Fender pricing. You get what you pay for, not what you see in a pic.
