Collectible Badges Decorative Wrought Iron Metal Wall Plaque, One Size, Bronze

I ordered this for above my couch and it is the perfect size and matches my wrought iron end tables. It is simple but elegant and a beautiful design. It is a very dark brown but can mask for black once it is hung on the wall. My end tables are black wrought iron and you cant tell the difference between them and the wall decoration from a distance. The only problem I had was that as I took a closer look the finish had come off on one end so I had to send it back for a replacement.

First the caveat: It ISN'T wrought iron. It's made of round metal tubing (copper?) which is flattened at the ends to make the tight curlicues. It is then patina-ed (painted?) to make it mostly black. Close inspection reveals the copper or bronze color (like an old dark penny) in many places.That said, it is still beautiful and exactly what I wanted and expected. The construction also makes it very light weight, so no heavy duty mounts needed - it can be hung on a couple of small nails.Material quibble notwithstanding, I wouldn't dream of sending it back. I love it!

I purchased this item to hang above my fireplace. It's size works perfectly for the space and looks wonderful. It was shipped well, and seems to be well made. It hung easily on the wall with just a few small nails that are not noticeable. It came ever so slightly uneven, where if you hung it on the wall, one side would be flush against the wall, while the other side would have a small gap. I basically just bent it back to shape with some force, and it was not an issue. It looks great and I am very pleased with the purchase!

This piece is very nice! The color, a dark bronze, is perfect for our home. We placed this on a quartz wall over the fireplace. It looks great. I do wish there were some way to attach "rings" to hang it with. We ended up drilling holes in the wall, placing screws and then hanging it upside down by the metal designs themselves. Really easy and the peice is very light.. I am glad to get our blank quartz wall filled in with style!

It’s definitely beautiful, but the quality is not worth the $42. I would happily pay $25 for the quality you get. It is not wrought iron as it is extremely lightweight. One of the curling pieces sticks out much more than the rest ( hard to see in the photo I added) which is kind of irritating given the price. It’s still very beautiful and we are going to keep it.

Very nice piece. Heavy and sturdy. Appears to be made from round tubing and is not wrought iron as described, but the finish gives it a wrought iron look and feel. Used it over the headboard of my bed to fill an area where nothing else would look right.

I love wrought iron decor, when I saw this piece I couldn't resist buying it. I was searching for a while to find something to put over the doorway in my dining room. This looks stunning there! It's incredibly light and easy to hang. Its a deep brown color with hints of gold/bronze, from far away it looks black. I like it so much I decided to purchase a second one to go with a set of sconces I have in my living room.

exactly what i was expecting and what I wanted. i bought one for above my living room picture window and I am going to buy another for above my dining room window. my husband really likes it too. it would look cool mounted on a fireplace or above a mirror or doorway. just a nice touch. i like that it is light weight for my purposes. i don't think it would hold up outdoors with weather for very long.
