The new weed eaters now a days don't last very long. Our 3 year old machine needed a replacement, we found this for a great price, and it was easy to install and worked perfectly. Now if only we could get back the older weed eaters that had good quality parts that lasted longer than five minutes. Until then, thankfully you can find replacement parts here.

I had intended to rebuild the carb on my "new to me" Ryobi Weed Whacker but after pricing the parts, it really made better sense just to buy this kit. AND with prices about to go up on stuff, I'll probably try to diy fix stuff like this weed whacker to avoid paying a fortune to replace it in the future. So the kit really does come with everything you need to service these units at least TWICE. The quality of the carb is at least as good as the oem, if not better. The prime bulb plastic is a bit thicker and harder to press but maybe it will hold up to the fuel mix longer? We will see. And I don't know if this company is an oem manufacturer but they sent 2 spark plugs that are the same brand as what came out of it- "torch" I think. There is plenty of fuel line and 2 air filters but the gaskets must be for some other application. Thankfully I just had to clean the O-ring with some brakeleen and reassemble. This was the best bang for the buck when I ordered it and would do so again. Hope this is helpful to someone trying to keep their old big box store weed whacker buzzing!

Perfect fit and easy to swap out. The provided tubing was a bit small OD wise so I used the provided hose barbs to splice where I trimmed off the existing tubing. Fresh fuel and several pumps of the fuel bulb, she fired right up.

This replacement carb works great! Easy to install; 2 screws and reconnect the throttle cable and fuel line, a couple pushes on the primer bulb and my weed whacker started right up. Easy fix, and at a great price.

My Trimmer had an issue where it just popped and smoke started coming out and the trimmer died. I checked the coil and it was bad, so I replaced it. The trimmer would crank up but only run with full choke and then die.(Smoked like it had bad rings too) I knew this was a carb issue, so instead of ordering the kit, I ordered the entire carb assembly above with all the extra parts. I was able to teach my boys how to replace the fuel filter, all the lines and carb. Cranked on first pull and have not had any issues in 2 days of use. I am impressed with all the parts that came in this kit.(2 sizes of fuel line, fuel filter, line connectors, springs for fuel line, carb, and 2 different size generic spark plugs) Thats alot of parts for the money. Would buy again

I have a Ryobi weedeater that I’ve replaced the carburetor on once already with an OEM carburetor. This carburetor is $25 cheaper than the OEM carburetor and the weedeater runs better than before.
