Looks good, works well
Arrived safely and in excellent condition. Easy to fit myself and looks classy. A leap in quality from the one it replaces and the 5 year guarantee gives peace of mind. Great value for money.

RUBBISH QUALITY and a complete waste of time and money
These arrived on time but within 10 days of being fitted at a cost of £100 the hot water tap is broken and I am forced to find an emergency plumber to fit new taps at a additional cost for both taps and labour because of the rubbish quality of this item . Do not buy.UPDATE - Had a plumber around last night to look at the taps which were broken. Appears that the hot water valve was missing an integral clip which he managed to replace...as I needed Hot water and could not have a bath without taps for 2-3 days whilst awaiting replacement taps I had to pay for the tiny clip off another valver he purchased and £80 to call him out and fit.UPDATE 2 - the 'fix' that my plumber put in palce using a clip from a similar valve failed again after 10 days. I have now removed the taps and have returned them to this supplier and expect a full refund....let's see how that goes...

Quality product
I already have Bristan taps and they are quality. I had to return this tap but not for any reason other that the connectors at the top between the pillars and the tap unit are only 1/2 in connections and I needed it to replace another tap unit but I found it would not fit because the one I had was 3/4 in.

Nice taps - rubbish instructions!
The 'instructions' are useless; a set of vague statements of the blindingly obvious with no useful information. You WILL need a good back-nut spanner 32mm; Rothenburger make a really strong box spanner (32 x 27mm) [https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rothenberger-Tap-Backnut-Spanner-2in/dp/B003BEUK3O] - but beware very sharp edges. If dealing with vintage cast-iron bath, you'll probably need some serious kit (as in photo) to get the old back-nuts off. The 'Boa' strap wrench [https://www.amazon.co.uk/BOA-13-2612-Standard-Strap-Wrench/dp/B00096JDKS/ref=sr_1_1?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1539800199&sr=1-1&keywords=boa] in the photo is an invaluable DIY tool - it grips anything from seized bottle/jar tops to waste compression fittings and, in this case will do up (and undo) chrome fittings without any risk of marking the shiny new plating! Here's how to do it:1. Before you start; with the mixer assembly on its back, pull the Hot and Cold caps off the tap handles and give the mild steel screws underneath a squirt of WD40.2. Turn off the water! Then turn on the taps to make sure the isolator/service valves are doing their job and only then remove the old taps!3. Clean around the tap holes, top and underneath.4. Assemble the pillars to the mixer body with the vertical side of each pillar nearest the middle (as in photo), but only do up the nuts finger-tight.5. Fit this assembly to the bath (a second pair of hands to hold the body is more or less essential to avoid the whole assembly falling into the bath while you fit washers and nuts underneath) making sure that the inlets are central in the holes in the bath. If fitting to an old bath with square holes, I'd not rely on the little 'O' rings to seal the pillars to the bath. I used the wide black washers between the pillars and bath, fitting standard 3/4" poly washers under the back nuts.6. Nip up the back nuts to hold the pillars in place.5. Progressively tighten up the body nuts and the back nuts, making sure everything stays in alignment as you do so.Now been in use for some 3 months. Two minor grumbles: 1) the change-over lever (Bath or Shower) is counter-intuitive - towards the shower hose is 'Bath'; 2) when you've been in the bath for a couple of minutes, the spout dumps a cupful of cold water on your feet with a triumphant gurgle!

Plumber’s delight!
My tap looks great and works well. My plumber was absolutely delighted when he arrived to replace my old tap. He sang the praises of this tap from how easy it was to fit to how well it worked and how durable it would be, and he was amazed at the price. The whole fitting process was so quick he charged me less! An all round win!

Lousy product, over-priced.
I purchased this fitting 18 months ago, paying up as it is a false economy to buy cheap plumbing products. One of the taps failed recently, I had to pay a plumber to repair it and now it has failed again so I will replace it with something different as it is not worth the hassle to carry on with it. I will seek a full refund. I would strongly advise anyone AGAINST buying this low quality over priced product. I would adds that I have a water softener which should make any product of this kind last longer. Very disappointing.

Product failed 3 months after purchase....too late to return to seller
Very disappointed as the cold water tap now leaks and can neither turn the hot water tap on or off
