Useless... lights up but doesn't work. - uncalibrated for algae.
after a week of use. there is no difference in algae level in the small pond. my unbranded was working better. obviously UK output is too weak.very disappointed.. I got this last summer as a spare to use when needed.. I used it new out of the box last week. after 5 days checked it again in case it flooded but all okay. still lights up with out any result. and now further 3 days. the water has gone more green if anything...I rather buy 2 non branded for half the price, though usually only one of them tends to do the job properly.. such a farce ... I am told this is because they are not calibrated properly to kill the algae. they may even be rejects.

my bulb had gone and it was looking a bit green before I noticed, I bought the new lamp and it cleared my pond in about a week, I've had the lamp running for about 6 months now and still got crystal clear water, I do expect to get a good twelve months use though.
