I use this on wool clothing by hand or on Delicate in the washer. Note: Colors in wool may bleed and dye other wool items if washed together. Have used no-rinse Eucalan for years to wash sweaters - with great results. I did call Eucalan who confirmed it was perfect to clean a wedding dress - note a wedding on a muddy farm!Used a toothbrush with neat Eucalan to gently scrub mud off of the hem (using a basin so the muddy water would not gravitate to the entire dress), rinsed the hem (note: this took a while). When satisfied, washed the entire dress in Eucalan in the bath. Note rinsed, emptied tub, washed again, with toothbrush handy for muddy spots.Amazing results - granted no beading embellishments, but a major wedding dress lace with a full underlining and large stiff bustle/train at the back looking like new. No chemicals involved. No $$$$ at the dry cleaners!

Excellent wool wash for hand knits. I Handwash all of the hand knit socks hats mitts neck ware,shawls, and sweaters to name a few and I prefer this Lavender scented eucalan. Leaves them very soft ,clean and very pleasant to wear.
