I got them for the deck railing so I can sit outside at night. I love that they have a remote. I have them programmed so they automatically come on at dusk for 3 hrs. Look great, great amount of options and settings, length wraps my whole railing, great price. Couldn't be happier!The brightness is just ambiance. Its not enough to read or do anything other than just enjoy a drink on the deck. You can still enjoy the stars and night sky. You would want another light at the table if you intend to eat dinner or read outside at night.

Up and running on day one.Picture shows just one string of lights.I alternated the drops on opposing sides of the limb to balance each smaller light string out so that I did not need any clips or ties. The length, gravity, and the way these are made should be enough to keep these from falling down.Arrived around noon and let the panel charge for the rest of the day.There were no instructions and came in a bag but pretty self explanatory.The only thing I was looking for, really, was maybe some guidance on how to unravel because having some direction on how they packaged them may have helped prevent my tangled mess in a tree.Didn't take long to unravel and may also have been better if done before I was up in a tree.Comes with a remote for different modes, timer options, and different attachment pieces for the panel to hang or stake in the ground.There's a tiny light on the back that shows when it's in charging mode.Perfect color and ambiance I was looking for.A Spanish moss feel made of lights.I keep walking outside just to look at these things.Will order more and find more limbs the ladder can reach!!

worked for awhile and looked great, but as usual with solar lights they seem to only last a few months, these did not last a year.

These lights are just enough. Create a peaceful, easy mood. Feels like you are looking at the stars twinkling. They give off a soft gentle light, not bright and obtrusive. I love that they are so lightweight and whimsical, appear to be dancing in the wind.

I followed the advice of a person who used it for his gazebo, who posted a review, and I did the same, and it looks spectacular. Thanks to that person for the idea.Looks amazing.

I have them hanging on the side of the shed. The lights are nice and bright and the length is perfect, I was going for a kind of waterfall effect, with the plants and rockery in front. I have had a few comments from family and friends, that they look great. I am going to buy more to add to my Christmas lights display.
