Easy to install. Does what it’s supposed to do, cut the volume by about 30%.

These are horrible quality. I should never have even tried to install them.Right out of the package you can see TERRIBLE welds and they were painted while fully assembled so your screw threads are messed up.I installed these using red loctite because the mounting screw is only going into the thin metal side and has very little to actually grab onto. I was careful not to over tighten them to avoid stripping the threads but still snug enough to hold.They stayed in for about 40 miles, I re-applied more loctite after noticing them loose. 30 miles later one flew out of my exhaust. Yay!When I got home I checked the remaining one to see what failed, the welds failed, the screws I loctited were still there holding but not by much.Just get something better and save yourself a headache.

The threads for the bolt holes appear to just be where a spike-like tool is pressed through and then the ruptured area is tapped so the threads aren't exactly robust, but can be used or modified to accommodate a nut. The OD of the larger diameter area is 41.52mm on the ones I received. 42mm would have been preferred, but these were workable. I bent an angle into one to accommodate the angled outlet on the exhaust I was working on. There was on tearing or cracking of the tubing or of the welds joining the larger diameter portion to the smaller diameter portion. Bent in this fashion the insert fit well in a FMF mini Factory 4.1 muffler for a Honda CRF50. The sound level dropped as desired.

My pipes are 33mm inside these were supposed to be 30mm. Well they had a tiny lip on the outer edge I had the grind off to get them to fit inside the pipe. And the treads on the baffles are almost useless I had to put a nut on the end of the bolt to keep them tight.

Very weak. No seal at all. The welds look like a 3 year old did them. Sounds like a bird is in my exhaust and rev and shut down. Don’t waste your money.

Returned did not fit application and wasn't well made

Bought these for a traditional custom car that actual mufflers would cause issues with exhaust fitment and appearance.....so not exactly intended application. Definitely a cheaply made part.....but they were also very cheap to buy. And tried them in the exhaust as is without actually mounting them. Actually made a noticeable difference. Once I wrap them with mat baffle wrap they'll more than do the job
