Brilliant ! My Labrador puppy was making such a mess with a normal bowl. This is well made stable, and really works. Also very easy to clean . Delighted with purchase.

The dogs drank from this straight away. There is less water on the floor. The Newfoundland made such a mess when she drank from a water bowl, now we don't have to run after her to dry here mouth before she shakes water everywhere

This is a great water bowl for most dogs, whether small, medium or large in size. It holds a lot of water and the float mechanism does work well to prevent spill. However, after a few weeks, my Pekingese has refused point blank to use it, though he did find it relatively easy initially and seemed to get a whole lot less water down his "beard" and on the floor. It may be that once the level of water reduces, his very flat face doesn't fit into the bowl to allow him to drink - a common issue with all flat-faced breeds. My own Peke prefers a flatter style of water dish [like a plant saucer or similar] or one of the angled dishes . It must be said that my own Pekingese is extremely fussy and can be fickle too. Therefore, it your dog is of a pointy faced breed, I do think that this bowl is likely to be excellent for him/her.

I do think this is overpriced, it's a bowl with a cover that lowers as the water level drops.But I like the idea of the cover as less dirt gets in the water, and there's an adequate puddle of water there at all times my 11kg puppy had no issues using it immediately.I'm really not sure what the filter is for, as the center channel where all the water comes up etc is open... its only the small pin holes along the putter edge that has the filter underneath so from what I can see the filter does nothing to filter the water.But, I like that it's a 2L bowl that has a cover and I don't feel as if my pup is going to dehydrate.

Excellent quality. This has helped us with our pup who used to drink water as if he's never seen it before then ended up throwing up! That's stopped now. He's taken to it very quickly and we can trust this in the car while travelling, no spills or drips, and me being a clumsy I've even kicked this when walking past and its not spilled a drop!

Good quality, easy to clean and has a large capacity. It took one of my dogs some time to get used to it, but now it's no problem. They still carry a small amount of water dribble across the floor when they drink from it, but it's much improved on a standard water bowl.

Was genuinely surprised and very pleased that this worked so well. Our golden retriever used to leave a trail of water on the kitchen floor after drinking and more than once we've slipped on the wooden floor. I used to have to keep an old dishcloth hanging on the wall next to his water bowl in the kitchen and try and wipe his chin before he moved away. But now there is no mess at all. It really is quite amazing and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who has a dog that drips water as much as ours did. I was also quite surprised that he took to using it as well as he did, the first time I put a treat on the side of the bowl and after that he just went to drink from it without any fuss.

I bought this for my 12 week old gsd puppy. The water didn’t come through the holes fast enough for her so she put her foot in it and pressed the float down. Excited by this she brought the second foot into play and the retaining float ring flipped out allowing all the parts to be disassembled and water to go everywhere.The whole thing is easy to clean and assemble but the design is flawed as being square the four retaining points are required to be very shallow and offer very little resistance to the top bit coming off. A far better design would have been to make it circular so that the top retainer could then have been a rotating circular push down and twist affair allowing larger and stronger lugs, of greater number, to keep it in place. (A kind of bayonet arrangement) as it is, there are only four points holding it on and it relies on the plastic to flex, which it does quite easily. It is very light when there is little water left so easy to turn over.The idea sounds great but it needs more work and comment from our furry friends before this will pas muster!

My dog was constantly leaving a stream of water across the kitchen floor every time she took a drink. This bowl was a community water bowl, since we have two dogs and four cats. This bowl works like a charm! Not one spill across the floor since the day we got it. All the animals took to it very easily without any persuasion. It’s vet easy to take apart and clean too. I would highly recommend this bowl. I love it.

Mi cachorro no ha dejado de meter las patas , mojarse y tirar agua… es muy bonito, pero no soluciono mi problema con agua en el piso.

Très contente de mon achat. Ce n'est pas parfait non plus, parce qu'il y a encore un peu des gouttes quand mon chien a bu, mais rien à voir avec une gamelle classique!!!

I bought this to keep in my room so my animals have access to water when I'm not home. I was looking for something to prevent water ending up all over my carpet and this was perfect! It works exactly as it should, and is easy to use, clean, etc. Looks just as it does in the picture and was a very good buy.
