These are nice, stylish and they won't get soggy. But not for steaks, chops or anything that needs to be cut. Flatware is ok...not any better or worse than the little wood ice cream spoons you get with ice cream cups. You will like these better than any paper products, but keep your expectations in check.

Used these for a NYE party, and they work VERY well. Smooth finish, no splinters, no separation of layers. The forks are plenty sturdy enough to spear foods. The spoons are very functional (don't expect to use them as soup spoons though). The knives won't cut steak or chicken, but they work well for softer foods. Great item if you're serving party foods that are already portioned, or desserts. Went into our composter afterwards, and have broken down nicely.

I chose this for a small get together so I wouldn't have to do dishes. I chose these so I didn't have to buy disposable plastic. They didn't leave splinters which was a plus, and they were sturdy. I had a few issues with the product. The first was my own fault, I read "pack of 40" when I ordered and so I expected 40 sets of plates/spoons/etc. OOPS My other problem with the product was how much plastic it was packaged with.Overall they were great, shipped fast, and were a hit. 7/10 might buy again.

These plates were wonderful! They were light and thin but very sturdy and did not leak. I loved having an alternative to coated paper or plastic plates. I will be ordering again for my next party!

I want to be plastic free in my food truck. I have been trying out possibilities that will also be addordable. This is a front runner. I used it to cater a 40 person dinner. There were no mishaps with the cutlery or the plates. I didn't use the knives, but they seem sturdy enough for cooked food.

Loved these but they are VERY small so guests used many more of them then I had planned for. Ran out too soon. These would be good for just small bites

This set is by far the best bargain in bamboo tableware. Just be aware that the plates are small. If you are having a gathering where people have to go to a food table and put a meal on their plates, they will not be happy as they don't hold much. I used them for a picnic dinner at the Hollywood Bowl so we were all sitting in close proximity to the food and it was no problem.
