I live in a 450sf apartment, so every inch is *precious*. These shelves are made of **real wood* - not fibre board, press board, etc. They are also *extra deep* - as in, from the wall to the outside edge of the shelf. I haven't found any others like these - most shelves seem to be so narrow that they'll hardly fit more than picture frames, but these are the REAL DEAL.The metal bands are very sturdy, and the hardware provided includes very good wall anchors.Two things that are a little so-so - they are a bit narrow between the bands (side to side), and these aren't press-and-fit - you actually have to line up the metal brackets and SCREW THEM INTO THE SHELVES BY HAND (or, y'know, electric drill). One the one hand, that makes them very sturdy and they won't slip out of place - on the other, if you had to move and wanted to pack them up, it would take extra time and effort to take them apart. On the other OTHER hand, once disassembled, they have a *very* tiny footprint - I've seen coffee table books that were larger than these boxes!Overall, they are attractive, functional, and I'll be ordering more!

They're perfect for my son's Lego displays. The wood is really lightweight, like balsa, yet strong with no warping. I chose shelves with this width so I could hit the studs if I wanted, but ended up using the anchors once we decided where we wanted them to go. The screws that come with the anchors, unusually, are wood screws so it'd be easy to mount to the studs if you had something a bit heavier than Lego to place on it. I'll be buying another set.I saw comments regarding the angle of the triangular brackets making it difficult to screw in the screws. I mounted my shelves inside the brackets with no problems. The top screws of the brackets, where the angle is acute, are screwed down to the wall first, the brackets are then slid onto them...I was able to screw them down a final half turn with the provided screw driver withoutb difficulty. The second set of screws are screwed in with ease at the right angle. In the other orientation, with the shelf mounted on top of an inverted bracket, I could see it being difficult to screw in the front end of the shelf to the bracket.

Light duty but good for small spaces.

Easy to install, Nice little shelves for above my mini fridge which is in my closet. Sturdy enough for heavier items. Great product for the price

Need a shelf under my work table these were the perfect fit and saved a lot of trouble trying to make one you just keep searching on Amazon you'll get what you want

This product is good, light weight wood or fake wood, ver nice brackets all hardware and tools needed are included…..except… the bracket has one hole right next to a bend in the bracket that requires either you put the screw in sideways or a special L shaped Phillips head. I ended up using a bit and vise grips. Was a pain in the bootay. They are up now and look good they should hold well.

I was able to put these up by myself without the weird plastic guiders but a couple screws wouldnt screw in all the way in (but it was good enough) because I had hit a wall stud, which is kind of what you want so the shelf stays up. It's not like I'm setting books on it though, just wifi devices. When I set these up next to each other I was able to set all the router, powerstrip devices I needed to get them lifted up off the floor in an area where the cable cord comes out of the wall and I had to get these things off the floor or table but they had to stay in the same room because of flooring work being done for a few days. They are not the most beautiful shelving, but this was more for functional lift-up off the floor for an item that couldnt be taken out of the room for a big flooring job.
