Let my Rancher sit way too long, you know the story of old, stale gas and water. I was unable to repair the old carb so I took a chance on this carb and ordered it. I reused my choke cable and fittings, hooked up the throttle, replaced the old fuel line and installed one of the included filters. Installed the carb, attached the two vent lines and turned the key…. It started immediately and settled into a decent idle (without even using the choke) I adjusted the idle a little bit higher and checked throttle response, simply crisp and spot on. If you need a carb for a rancher, you need to do this. It’s literally a steal.

This was extremely easy to install. No adjustment needed. The only issues were the connector for the carb heater did not match. Just cut it off and replaced with the old connector. The little keepers that go on the vent tubes suck. And are near impossible to get back on if you take them off. Other than that. It is a great buy. Allot easier and just as cheap as a rebuild.

The connection for the carburetor didn't match the 4wheler so I use the old one and it works great.

My Rancher runs like new after this replacement carb. I read that an old carb drips gas because of the float warping with age so why not just replace the entire assembly. Very easy install but the carb heater was defective causing the ignition fuse to blow. Further research says the carb heater isn't a necessity so I disconnected it, replaced the fuse, and went riding.

Runs great! Had to switch out the cord with plug on carb but worked good. I have a Honda RANCHER Trx 350te also the choke was a weird fit but still works.
