I wanted to leave it a little while before I left a review, so that I could truly give an accurate account of the product. Firstly, I am 39 and was fed up of tired looking skin that was starting to sag, wrinkle and look dull as well as show lots of large pores (something I was very down about as I have always had great skin).I started on a real mission to try and sort myself out as I was feel very self conscious and quite depressed. I started making sure I was drinking enough water, bought some Retinol and began facial massage. Then I read about the benefits of Lactic Acid - I read some good reviews on this product, so decided to give it a try. After a patch test, I used it once a week - first time application it felt fine, a very slight tingle but nothing more. I noticed as I washed it off my pores on my cheeks looked more pronounced and a little darker (as if the muck was coming to the surface?) This settled down after an hour or so and my skin appeared brighter. After the second application there was no tingling and I left it on a little longer, the same thing happened to the pores on my cheeks and then afterwards my skin had a lovely sheen to it. After a few days I thought the pores were looking smaller and less noticeable. The application was on longer still with the same outcome...however, three days after my third application I had the shock of my life!! Whilst I had been paying particular attention to the pores on my face and cheeks, the pores on my forehead had gone unnoticed (as I wear a fringe to hide them!) I took a look at them and could not believe what I was seeing! They were hardly noticeable! Of course I know pores will never disappear - we need them! BUT they were much, much smaller and smoother - nothing like the unsightly mess they had been (check out the photos). The pores on my cheeks too are definitely getting smaller and less noticeable. Fine lines are smoothing out and generally my skin is looking brighter. So much so, that I have not been wearing foundation - which for me is a big thing - and I am now considering growing out my fringe! I would definitely urge people to try this product. Do a patch test and go gently, as with everything. Take photos and compare. I love this product and will continue to use it once a week. I feel that, not only does the product on it's own make a difference, but for those using serums, it seems to allow them to get into the skin better and work more effectively. Well done SkinPep!

I have sensitive, dry but congested skin with blackheads. This product is very gentle and does appear to tighten pores but I didn't find it effective enough at clearing blackheads. I've used it 3 times now. If you are new to acid peels, this is a good one to start off with that wont damage your skin or leave you with unsightly peeling. To me, this is not a true peel but is great for sensitive skin that does not have any moderate to significant acne to clear.

I obviously can’t have any dead skin on my face (mind you I do regular TCA peels 😂) but I was disappointed it didn’t leave me with the glow I heard a few people mention

I'm the first to admit that I have always neglected my skin. It's never given me any trouble, so I've ignored it. Now, in my mid-50s, I'm paying the price for my neglect. Plus, I now have rosacea, eczema, age spots, melasma & sebaceous hyperplasia. Yep, if it can go wrong with your face, I've got it. Obviously, this was rather depressing, and some of it I'm stuck with, but I thought it was about time I dealt with the things I can change, such as my enlarged pores and bad skin texture.I've been using this peel a couple of times a week for a month now, together with microdermabrasion crystals, also twice a week. I can honestly say the results have been amazing. My skin is smooth and soft, and my pores have reduced dramatically. The application is easy, and you don't need to use much. I often leave the product on for 10 minutes or more (because I've been distracted) with no ill effects. It's a bit stingy if you get it on cuts, but it doesn't feel overly harsh in use.Obviously, this isn't a miracle cure for all my skin problems, but at least with the texture of my skin being much better, I can now apply make up and concealer for the other issues without it settling into my huge pores and making me look like a spotty freak!I shall be keeping this in my skincare arsenal for the foreseeable future - I never want my skin to go back to how it was before. Great job guys!And I'm only slightly miffed that I didn't get any free samples with my order.

Broke me out in the worst acne ever. My skin has taken months to recover.

I just got a small tube to try out a while ago and I've been so impressed that I've just got a 30ml tube before I ran out! I confess I've taken to leaving it on my face while I'm in the bath, much longer than recommended, but it doesn't seem to do any harm (I extended the time carefully to reach this conclusion but everyone's skin is different and I would urge anyone to proceed with caution). The immediate result is that the skin on my face feels a tiny bit roughened but nothing is visible and the next day it's fine again.The clincher for me is that I have realised this product, used a day before a microdermabrasion treatment, easily doubles the effectiveness of the treatment! Combining this with my PMD is really giving results. PMD once a week and this amazing stuff three or four times... it's really made a difference for me. My skin is clearer, pores are tightening and moisturising products are doing a better job. Before I got this I really was wondering if I would ever see results from PMD alone, it's a slow progress... I feel like I'm cheating now :-D

After I used it once my skin became red but after a while it went back to normal it gave me spots and it only made my face soft in some areas. May have used it wrongly. I rinsed it off with hot water is that a reason why ? Think it's too strong for my skin.

Muy buen producto..Me gustó mucho.Lo único es que tiene un precio elevado para lo poquito que viene..pero seguro volveré a comprarlo porque me quedé muy contenta ¡¡
