Great Quality. Easy build
This Rubbermaid shed is Fantastic! I did a lot of research and comparing models…this was the best I found for the price. I got this on sale on Amazon and I haven’t been disappointed. Shed was delivered on time and the last mile company brought it all the way to my backyard for easy unpacking and set up. My brother and I put the whole thing together in less than 3 hours. The longest portion was pulling the sticky protective paper off the windows. Everything lined up perfectly and screws and bolts went together easy. Instructions were well written and easy follow. Once all together I was very impressed with the quality and all the aluminum reinforced panels that make it super sturdy. I also love the design and color so that it is not an eyesore in the backyard next to the pool. I give this shed 5* and highly recommend.

It's now a chicken coop!
Love that it's insulated as it works well for a chicken coop. I did frame it on the inside so that I could mount roosts and their nests. Certainly strong enough without the support but I didn't want to drill any holes in the unit itself. A bit difficult for me to put together (I'm 71 yo) as you need a lot of strength to 'snap' in the pieces. Thanks to my 6'7" tall son who made it easier to put together with this height and strength. This will last probably longer than I will as it's inside my chicken pen that's also has a roof on it. I put tarps over the top of the pen so basically, this coop is enclosed and doubly protected. I'm very happy with this. There are videos about turning this into a chicken coop and were very helpful with ideas but of course, I had ideas of my own too! Happy chickens, happy me.

Remember. It's made by Rubbermaid
Keep in mind this shed is made by the same people that make the containers you put your left-overs in after dinner. That being said. It's not that difficult to put together. With 2 people! I tamped down a 10'x10' area in my back yard & put down patio blocks as a base. The walls go together simple enough. The roofing portion is where it gets a tad difficult. And 2 people are the only way to go. Now. Here's where the Rubbermade remark comes in. Two of the roof panels were so warped. (Like a Rubbermaid container lid gets after multiple uses). I thought they were defective. But before I called the 800#. I took the two pieces & laid them on my blacktopped driveway. In the direct sunlight for about an hour. This made them pliable enough to quickly install them on the shed. Before they started to warp again. Doors went on ok. But like other reviews said. Mine didn't line up exactly as I hoped. All in all. It's nice looking. Keeps things dry. & I can pack my lawn tractor / push mower /roto-tiller. OR snow blower . inside. It's tight. But can be done. Rubermade offers brackets that mount on the walls for like $16/e which work nice enough. for hanging lead cords / weed whip etc. All in all. I would buy again. It just seems like $800 bucks is overpriced

Don't Buy!!! Rubbermaid Shed with Dormer 7x7 is not easily assembled. Parts warped had to return!
If you're reading reviews on the Rubbermaid Sheds make sure the reviews you read pertain to the right shed. For example there are reviews for a previous model under this listing, that is misleading for what you're going to receive. We ordered the 7x7 rubbermaid shed with a dormer in grey. We chose this because we currently own the previous model same dimensions with no dormer and it was a breeze to put together. We love that one. This newer model has been modified by the manufacturer and states it conserves on materials and parts to make it easier.... This is a load of BS.The one we ordered, the walls made of resin were all warped. It didn't snap in easily as presented in their online video tutorial. Parts didn't fit right where you would secure one corner of the roof and then snap in the other corner and the secured corner would then pop out. The instructions don't make sense but i guess thats a given. The materials don't seem as good quality as their previous model, and the seams from the side walls were not seamless where there would be chance for outdoor water penetration. We decided to return. Which in of it self was a nightmare dealing with Amazon logistics and their freighting partners who after 5 attempts of failed pick ups due to mismanagement of time, communication needs for resources and man power decided to tell us to deal with the 500lb package on our own. However they did right and refunded us. BUT Now I have a 500lb useless shed sitting in our yard killing my grass and obstructing the entrance into our yard for 4th of July weekend. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

Really neat little (7x7ft) shed- looks great
The is a super little shed & my husband & a friend’s son put it together (on a solid base) in just over 4 hours. It slotted together pretty easily (Tip: don’t forget to use the washing liquid to help slide then clip the parts in). It seems very sturdy and we have it bolted to a sold base so it shouldn’t go anywhere. However, there is one really annoying little thing - (which, of course, you don’t find this out until you reach the very last step of the build!) and that is the right hand door has this odd little nub at the top which catches on the inbuilt guttering at the front and prevents the door from closing properly! The only way to shut it, is by holding the handle & pushing the top of the door (slipping it) underneath the gutter first, then push the bottom of the door shut with your toe (or it just won’t line up to close!) Without this protrusion, the door would have easily closed. We think this could possibly end up wearing over time either the guttering in the place where it catches or the protruding piece on the top of the door and you can’t rub it down or cut it off as the door is hollow & water would get inside. It must be a design fault as I’ve seen other purchasers complain about the same issue & never seen a response from the manufacturer in the questions section.Nevertheless, overall and so far, we are very pleased with it but I can’t comment as for it being weather proof, time will tell. Now the next challenge is finding the shelves and other accessories to fit inside!!
