I think I have tried every brand of these storage bags and they always failed to stay sealed. I was going to try a different brand 1 day but the delivery date was too long. I saw these & gave them a try. I am so glad that the other brand would have taken too long! These get incredibly flat using the electric pump. It has been over 2 months and there has been no change. No air leaks nothing, Everything is as flat as the day I sealed them up for the summer. I have never had any last this long and I honestly believe through experience, if they were going to leak it would have already happened. I can't believe how great these are and the price is less than other more well known brands. I will never buy a different brand again. They have many different configurations of sizes to choose from but make sure you buy 1 that has the electric pump. I always felt there was something unsanitary & gross about using the vacuum cleaner on my freshly washed clothes that I was storing for winter/summer. I love the electric pump! It works great and is sanitary. It didn't just vacuum up dog hair. I reordered more and used the pump on at least 35 or 40 bags and it worked as well on the last bag as it did the first one. I use these on my designer hand bags that I wouldn't use in the season, I just don't suck as much air out so they retain their shape. I have checked on them every so often and they are perfect. I won't have to deal with any dust when they come back in season. I have done the same with hats and belts I won't use until fall. They so far have stayed soft & I am not worried they will dry out in the unbelievably hot summer we are having all over the country. I spent a great deal on my wardrobe choices and I finally feel that I found protection for the clothes, hats belts and boots that dry out in the brutal heat of our summers. If I lived in a humid area I would use these amazing bags against the moisture i have encountered visiting family. I get to pack10 times my normal amount of things bcuz they really do work. I feel like I sound like a commercial for these bags but I am just so impressed by them after so many failures of other brands. I wish I were the spokesperson for them bcuz everything I have said is 💯% true! I am going to move soon & I think these are perfect for the paperwork we all have to hang onto, only I won't have to think about the yrs coming out of the folders or getting water or any kind of damaged. I will probably think of many other things that these will be perfect for. They keep your belongings safe and exactly how you left them months ago. Bravo whoever made this brand!

The media could not be loaded.  I never thought to purchase these for traveling before having a baby. Having more things to bring while having less hands, I was getting really nervous about our first family trip. I purchased another set of vacuum bags from this seller, and I was really happy with it. I didn't expect to love it so much to use all 6 bags from that purchase. I came back to purchase this one because it comes in various sizes, perfect for checked luggage and for fitting things in between. I am even packing a few unused ones just in case for the return flight and for dirty laundry! I don't think I will ever travel without these in the future. So convenient!

When I think of vacuum sealing things I picture items being nearly flat and sealed. The vacuum works well, the bags work well as long as you use the plastic sealer, but I feel like the vacuum is just a smidge underpowered. Takes about 5 minutes to get a bag as small as possible. Not as fast as a full size vacuum obviously since it’s a fraction of the size but if you have time to wait a few minutes each bag it’s a decent buy.Packing for France trip in two weeks so will update if it falls short when traveling abroad in carry on luggage only.

a lot of these types of things come with almost like an air mattress inflator, or have you use your floor vacuum. This one comes with a surprisingly powerful vacuum pump that i think may be the strongest you'll find on amazon. Evacuates the bags pretty fast too. The bags could be thicker, and all but one or two in this kit held their vacuum for extended periods of time. You'll be hard pressed to find a vacuum bag system for storing clothes and stuff that'll hold a vacuum for a year, but these bags are good for storing and waterproofing clothes and other things between seasons, or if you're trying to cram lots of stuff into a carryon, or if you're going camping. This pump requires a wall outlet, but they also make a compact USB powered one (same vacuum power but slower) that is a little bigger than an air pods case. The valves on these bags are nearly universal, i got both so i can repack the small bags on the go. The only thing i'd change on this system is to get the bags to be slightly thicker so they're more resistant to cuts and abrasion. still 5 stars though, i love this thing.

I travel a lot for work and bought these to help decrease the size of my suitcase. The bags will vacuum seal for about 2 hours. After that, they lose their seal and return to normal. Not worth the money and I don't use them anymore.

It works well for sucking out the air and easy to use. This is actually my 2nd one because I don't know what I did with my previous device.My biggest gripe is that you need to hold it. The air is pushed out from the bottom,.. You can use the connecting tube but it doesn't secure well enough and will come off easily

So I purchased another travel vacuum and I loved it but I wanted another one to buy as a gift. I decided to try this one because the bags were bigger and looked stronger. I did love the quality of the bags and the jumbo size will hold all my clothes for packing. The vacuum was a bit noisy but the suction was good. Small enough to pack without taking up so much space. It does the job however I prefer the first one only because of the vacuum must be held in place. Worth it for the price. It has a plug which is easier the the USB model.

Took my entire family on vacation and they all tend to pack very heavy. We bought these and were able to put two people in one suitcase for 6 days and bringing the vacuum with you on the trip you can vacuum seal and do the same thing on the way back great way to avoid those excessive Airline fees

Vacuum works very well, not too noisy, easy to use. The bags are good quality too.

I was so hopeful.. The vacuum suction works great. Flattening a pillow in under a minute. Quick & easy. Very pleased with that. But, in the morning the bags were inflated again. Very disappointed and will be asking for a refund.

I love this, saves so much space for travels

Don't purchase this bundle for the pump. It does the job but extremely slowly. You'd be better off just using your vacuum cleaner.
