Installed for my 29 year old daughter's new place. Wanted something youthful and not traditional and this looks great. Can't beat the price! Major style upgrade from the super fancy old school chandelier that was hanging there before. She loves it.

I haven't been able to hang this yet because my electrician has been booked up, but by looking at the light I am sure I'll love it. I was afraid it wouldn't be a nice enough metal, but it exceeded my expectations. The color (black) is nice.. and even all around. It's going to look very classy and I can't wait to have it above my table.

Actually picked this light up for my breakfast area, but found out it would not work correctly without taking down the ceiling medallion, which was more work than I wanted to do. So, I moved it to the kitchen.This installs like any other standard light, and has standard wiring. The wire connector piece, which comes with it requires an extremely small Phillips screwdriver to loosen up, and then re-tighten once you’ve inserted the wires.The ability to lengthen and shorten the cords is nice. I recommend only loosening the guides through the hole to the point where you can pull the wire to the desired length. If you take them all the way out, you can expose some sharp metal and pulling the wire through the hole can scrape the cord.The one major flaw is the center pin, which holds the cover to the ceiling bracket. Total length is barely over 1 inch. Considering you must run the center pin through the ceiling bracket high enough to put on the ground wire (that’s the way it’s designed) plus a washer and a nut to hold in place, and then allow for the 1 inch depth of the cover, it’s not enough. Fortunately, I happen to have a leftover from another fixture and had to swap it out.While this fixture will except any E26 sized bulb, Edison bulbs would certainly look the best since the bulb is completely exposed.
