Oh my…what can I say besides to cute for words! My granddaughter is a taller 3 yr old but as you can see it fits her. There is plenty of room in it and I have no doubt my 9 yr old grand would fit it as well! Easy to put on, and hold air great!!! Absolutely love it!

My son loves this costume, but be prepared for an onslaught of "cool dinosaur, dragon, crocodile, [insert reptile variants here]" (see what I did? Hehe). One even thought itwas a bunny. Even after explaining that it was Alligator Loki, we'd get "oh okay," with blank stares unless someone was familiar with the show/comic. It has held up through two school events, two trunk-or-treats, and Halloween night trick-or-treating so far. The fan slowed down towards the end of Halloween night, which I know is dependent on the type of batteries used, but I mention it just to point out that it doesn't just cut off. If it starts to droop, it's time to swap batteries. My son did get hot and sweaty in it, but he also ran around in it a lot. He is 8 years old, 4'7", and slim to average build (in between 8 and 10 size clothing), and it fit him perfectly. I'm assuming the legs and arms will just be shorter on him as he grows. If he chooses to wear it again, I will update the review with fit changes. I'm including a picture of my son wearing it in between his friend who is 10, very tall and husky, and my daughter who is 5 and petite. I don't know if his friend would fit in it with his wide shoulders, but if he gets a chance to have him try it on, I will get a pic to add to this review as well. Same goes for my daughter. My son is 5 years old and we bought on a whim for Halloween. It does not stay inflated and the head won’t even stay up. I contacted their customer support and had to provide extensive details of the problem to which they then said “oh it’s an Amazon purchase—deal with them.” Horrible.

This costume is as pictured and does stay inflated fairly well. That said, kids move quickly and it can become deflated when they move/run around and it does impeded movement. It's fun for a short time, but since we bought it for walking around to trick or treat, I think it may be get very annoying quickly. The quality is good and it does what it's supposed to, but not sure how long it will last as a costume just because it's bulky.
