Rain resistant with water-proofed zippers, the Ironborn is ready for the rainy season here in Washington. As for the brief summer months, Nomad has provided ample ventilation throughout the jacket. These ventilation ports are secured behind more water-proofed zippers; keeping them secure when needed and allowing ease of access when things get a bit swampy. Another strong point in the construction of the jacket is the myriad of pockets. I personally love having pockets all over the place. The big cellular pocket was a welcome sight when I showed off the Nomad Ironborn to a few of my other biker friends. Their only critique being that maybe the cellular pocket be clear so that they could see/use touchscreen while the phone is in the pocket while riding.Fit- The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket fits AMAZINGLY! At 5’7” 180lbs, I went with the LARGE and was very pleased with the fit. The cut and sewing of the jacket creates a very aesthetic, pleasing look while remaining comfortable and mobile. The soft armor throughout the jacket is also comfortable and secure. I don’t really have any concerns that the armor is going to bunch-up or move out-of-place while riding or during daily activities. It just looks cool.Final Thoughts- The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket is definitely the choice to make if someone is in the market for a quality riding jacket but does not want to spend hundreds of dollars on that choice. Solid construction with top-notch materials, temperature regulation, countless pockets, all while looking cool and stylish; that is a winner if I have ever heard one. It made of decent tough material It has all the pockets and storage I need for long rides I can easily store my phone and paper work anything I may need the sizes do run in my opinion a little small so make sure your giving yourself the room you need I'm 6ft 240lbs and I ordered the extra large and it fits nice and snug it does not make you feel constricted and gives me total free movement when on my bike it's a good quality jacket the water does bead off of it if you get caught in a rain shower. It does keep the wind off you and keeps you warm yet you can open up the pockets allow it to vent when you need to stay cool the pad placement feels natural not big and bulky yet still provides some protection in case of a slide overall I would say it's great jacket for the price point I will be getting 1 more for my passenger to wear when we go cruising
