These brushes are nice and work well. A few stray hairs, but nothing terrible!

Have 4 stars instead if 5 because used to stencil an entire patio and brush started to flay out after a while. I’d wash shape and dry in a paper towel to reshape and it’d hold its shape again for a bit before flaying again.

I like the deal you get for the price. Using this type of paintbrush is my first choice for refurbishing furniture and other home projects, which is what I use them for. The bristles are not the quality I am used to using. The bristles create a rougher paint job, and also feel that way when using them. I usually buy these types of paint brushes at Lowes, but could not find the kind I like to use due to not having the item on stock, so I settled for this set of brushes. As noted in the headline, it's a paintbrush, and it works for what it is supposed to do, but there is something about it that does not visually give a seamless paint job or even feel of quality. It's hard to explain the feeling one gets when painting with a great brush. If you are a painter, you will understand what I mean. If you are not, don't worry about getting more expensive paint brushes—this set will do the trick for what your painting needs. Washing the paint off the brushes can be more time consuming, as paint debris stays behind and dries in between the bristles, which can be annoying. They are great for a one to two time use. Using the paintbrushes may require you to apply more coats to your project for a seamless look, which could increase your painting time. Also, the bristles fall out easier than paint brushes that contain finer bristle material.Note: you will spend some time peeling the bristles out of your paint job—wear gloves if you don't want to get paint all over your fingers.Bristles staying intact while painting, I am a thing!

I like the way they look and handles. Like the box they came in. It's a 4 piece set. Have not used then yet. I will give another review after use.

These are nice brushes for a moderate price. I’ve used them a couple of times while chalk painting a large piece of furniture, and I haven’t had any issues with shedding. There are leather cords on the end of the brushes with which to hang them up to dry after cleaning.

I use them as a nearly dry effect for tree detail, etc in my landscapes acrylic paintings. As an artist, I use many different tools to achieve a specific effect on my canvases. These are great brushes and I have used many of the sizes in this set. No negatives...I am extremely happy with the set of artists stencil brushes!

I love the sturdy and great quality brushes. Vanish went on smooth. This is a great value set.
