Great replacement
We bought a fixer-upper and it was full of stuff, pet hair, and needed a lot of repair. This was a great filter replacement for the one that came with the shop vac- I actually think this lasted longer than the original. Easy to install for this novice. Did not hinder vacuuming strength- in fact I think it was better. Great value for price. It fit as expected and was much better for dust control than the original. Will likely buy again.

cleaner air
I've been buying the 1-layer standard filter up till now. Thought I'd lose suction power with a higher filter. Nope, works great and works much better than the standard.

Worked Great for Drywall Dust
I used this in combination with a catch bag and I had ZERO blow thru on my RIGID shop vac. I'll clean it up and put the regular filter back in and save it for my next drywall project.

Rigid the way to go
Fits snugly to my rigid shop vac. A lot better in filtering ability than aftermarket options. I like this genuine filter from amazon as they are built well. Never like to compromise on the shop vac filter options and go with rigid all the time. Last time I bought an aftermarket filter from amazon and it did not even fit my shop vac so ended up picking rigid and stuck with it.

Clean exhaust
This filter is a must have for your shop vac. I used to have dust blow out the exhaust every time I would turn it on. Now I have clean air. I didn't notice a change in suction either.

Much needed filter

This is a filter for a Ridgid Vacuum made by the Ridgid company (OEM). It is fully washable and cleans easily with water. It is made of durable, 3-Layer filter material that captures superfine dust particles too small to be seen by the naked eye. This is a high efficiency filter with microban, so you can be sure that it is not spreading germs or the like. The filter has a pleated design which offers a greater surface area that resists clogging more than the other filters. This works best for sawdust, dusty basements attics and garages, car dirt, drywall dust, cement dust, cold ashes from fireplaces and bbq grills, fine powders like flour, talcum/baby powder, and chalk. This filter will fit all 6-20 gallon Ridgid wet/dry vac. I do woodworking and painting and use this filter in my Ridgid when ever I am doing anything that causes a dusty or spray paint mess. I am very happy with this filter.
