These straps are absolutely stunning! I ordered the M8HTV-15 and the M8HTV-16. Both are excellently crafted and are very comfortable. My only word of caution is to be careful with the the metal buckles as they may scratch the finish on your guitar.

When rock music became “groovy” in the late 60’s, many guitar and bass players traded in their old skinny leather straps for the hip woven “hootenanny” designs from a US company called Ace. Lennon, Hendrix, Page, and even Elvis (see his ‘68 comeback special) used ‘em and were filmed and photographed with them endlessly. As the 70’s turned into the ‘80’s, though, tastes changed and other styles took over. The Woodstock era is hip again now, however, and it’s little wonder that guitar and bass players hoping to capture some of that mojo have been drawn to hootenanny-style straps again. The sad thing is that the straps you can find that replicate the beloved Ace designs used by our heroes are, for the most part, very poorly made. Levy’s comes to the rescue with straps like this. Can you get a strap from Levy’s with the exact same patterns that Hendrix or Page had on their straps?
