I just happened upon this when I was looking for my previous deodorant preference from dove and saw that it was aluminum free which I was looking for because I want to get away from all the heavily toxic stuff and it got a good score on this app called Yuka that tells you what harmful additives are in your food and beauty products.All that being said this one works GREAT!!! It’s clear so it doesn’t tarnish your clothes if you brush against it with your clothes. It smells wonderful without being too perfume like. It lasts forever. Super smooth and soothing to apply and I never smell grossness when it’s hot and I’m sweaty all day. Definitely worth the buy!!!

Im a big girl and I been trying to find healthier skin care products in general. Deodorant is the ONLY thing I haven’t been able to switch over to more natural. I’ve tried native, I’ve even tried doves other one that is just aluminum free. The native broke me out from the baking soda and the other dove one just didn’t work for me I was smelly after 1 hour. So I was extremely skeptical about this. KEEP IN MIND, I have VERY SENSITIVE skin! So anything with baking soda was a no for me. I wanted something that would even tone my armpits while Keeping funk away for AT LEAST lasting 24hrs. That’s it!This SURPASSES MY EXPECTATIONS! My skin LOVES IT! No reaction at all! No itching no nothing! And after an hour my armpits smell GREAT! So I tested it. I took a shower at night. EXFOLIATED my armpits because the antiperspirant ingredients leave a film I never liked which always caused me breakouts. I applied the deodorant and the next day woke up and DIDNT REAPPLY! I stayed home and cleaned and when I say I SWEAT! I SWEAT! My face was drenched my shirt, thighs, everything!! Living in FL definitely makes me sweat more also! And by the end of the day, so a little over 24 hours there was barely any funk AT ALL! Like NONE! I was IMPRESSED!I never thought a aluminum free deodorant would work so WELLL!! and so I tested it just like I do with the antiperspirants I use. So after the cleaning etc, I REAPPLIED WITHOUT A SHOWER!! Just to REALLY test it and see if it would mask it OR to see if a shower was needed. The deodorant made me smell SO FRESH! My armpits smell like I took a shower again!It’s been over 48 hours now and I’ve only had to reapply 1X after sweating! I definitely believe this would last the full 72 hours or claims you just have to Reapply when needed. I definitely won’t need the full 72 hours but I’ve been in situations where I have cause you never know where life takes you.OVERALL! If you’re questioning its power I definitely recommend for sensitive skin that can’t have baking soda in their deodorant. THIS IS THE ONE!Don’t let other reviews scare you some people have different body makeup and BO that needs something different. But if you’re anything like me who never thought I could use an aluminum free deodorant and one that’s good for my skin AND LASTS! YES! YES! YES! Just get it!I no longer feel left out of the “wave” and lol can feel that and own that confidently in a product I now trust!

I have tried soooooooooooo many (at least 25) aluminum free deodorants in my pursuit to eliminate toxins and metals from the products we use in our lives.Pros:•Glides on smooth! which was delightful after fighting with many others just trying to get it on your skin.•Actually works! It is effective at keeping you dry as well as keeping the B.O. at bay 💯•Smells amazing! I got the peach 🍑 & shea butter scent and I love it 🥰•Great price!Cons:•Still has some toxic and questionable ingredients but no aluminum. I use this as my 20% in the 80/20 way of limiting toxins in my life.•Doesn’t last as long as they advertise but it does last for most of the day. I only occasionally have to reapply towards the end of the day.

However, as this product functions as a deodorant, not an antiperspirant, perspiration is expected during warmer temperatures or physical activity. While the fragrance is initially appealing, its longevity is limited; under moderate conditions (61°F, minimal activity), effectiveness lasts approximately 3-4 hours. The deodorant's dissipation significantly reduces its efficacy compared to Native or Humble dedorant brands, with Dove dedorant necessitating 2-3 daily applications. I do not recommend this deodorant for strenuous activities or gym workouts due to insufficient lasting power, resulting in noticeable body odor. Overall, I rate this product a C, acknowledging its positive attributes (smooth application, pleasant scent, no staining) while acknowledging its significant shortcoming: inadequate lasting power and the need for frequent reapplication. I am glad I tried this product to satisfy my curiosity, but will not repurchase.

I love the scent of this deodorant so it makes for an easy choice to use! It isn’t powder-y like normal deodorant sticks it is more of a gel but doesn’t feel sticky when applied. I do find that I apply morning and evening to stay extra fresh but it smells so good I don’t mind having to put more on.

I’m hooked! Love the cool sensation when you put it on, nice fragrance, works well for me!

Previous to this purchase, I had been using the Dove 0% in lavender & vanilla (my two favorite scents). The formula worked great on me and really did hold up at least two days solid, but I disliked the scent, which seemed like neither lavender nor vanilla at all and was so strong that my husband complained about it.So I figured I'd try this one. Still no aluminum, which is what I'm after. Well, now I have the opposite problem. The lavender & chamomile scent is amazing! Just what I was looking for! However, compared to the other formula, it has no staying power at all. Now, I know I do tend to have strong body odor in general, but I should not have to wash my pits with soap and reapply it three times a day.I will be going back to the Dove 0% as soon as I find a scent I can tolerate. It held up to the Florida heat easily where this vitamin version did not.
