Saves the door sill from scratches in the paint and keeps foot from slipping if the door sill gets wet. Easy to install.

This OEM equipment, easy to install and a real bargain compared to dealerships. plus looks and works great.

Have these on both Jeeps and they have remained in place.

Kit comes with everything you need: directions, large alcohol pads. The kit covers and protects sills that otherwise have bare paint exposed, and for a jeep that's used where it is designed to, eventually that paint will become scuffed and unsightly from boot traffic. The sills look great, and match the factory running boards. Just make sure you follow directions exactly, install each sill with its matching left or right side (they are different) and line up the index marks with the body seam as stated. Most importantly, make sure the sill is up against the vertical door sill lip before pressing down--once it's stuck you can't remove and adjust it. Perhaps this item is something no one else will notice but you--but the absence of them and the bare painted sills were noticeable to me.

1) OAT needs to be above 60 deg F.2) There is a right and left side labeled on the back.3) Place the arrow on the seam of the body with the strips facing up and down as pictured on the instruction sheet. Don't forget to clean with iso swabs.4) Now what they don't print, but show in the picture. As you place pressure to hold it down and against the lip of the body, pull the outside strip FIRST! It will stick very firm and you won't worry about its shifting position.5) Now you could even use a popsicle stick to gently lift the inside lip to pull the inside strip without concern of it tearing off prematurely. Of course, my wife had to tell me that's my style. It will lay down right where to set it as the outside tape holds it in place.They look really nice and should offer some scuff protection.
