So very pleased with the bowls, just the right size

Volume is 450ml at a push but quality is fine
The volume of these bowls is 450ml right up to the rim (400ml for practical non-spillage purposes).Well-packed in the manufacturers box, avoiding breakages.The glass is thick and sturdy and reasonable for my intended purpose (dough prep and overnight proofing only). Glad I only ordered 1 set.Docked a star because of the annoying and misleading advertised 500ml volume (the main reason I bought them). Have since ordered 9x 500ml bowls directly from the well-known and excellent French manufacturer.
