I used this coconut oil on my dry skin and it absorbed really well. It hydrated the dry areas well. I recommend this for dry skin relief.

It smelled good and had a nice texture when warmed in your hands. However, it didn’t make me smell like a pina colada all day.

You can't go wrong using it for cooking, baking or as a body conditioner, hair moisturizer or oil pulling.Even though this brand cost slightly more than what I would normally payI love the fact that this company supports the communities they work with by providing academic scholarships to local children comma building hospitals, and rural communities and training farmers in organic methods.

This is unrefined coconut oil, so it's going to have some coconut flavor left in there. If you ever get coconut oil in the future and it tastes like nothing, you probably bought refined coconut oil.Coconut oil smokes rather easily. It is not great to use in high heat conditions. It is great for baking though. Put it in some chocolate cake, or chocolate whatever. Coconut oil goes great with chocolate. Melt some chocolate, mix some coconut oil in until it looks nice and pourable, and then pour it over your ice cream. It will freeze on contact and be delicious.I have no idea why another reviewer said this has no flavor and a high smoke point. The smoke point of unrefined coconut oil is 350°. That's high compared to...uh...flax oil? Since it's unrefined, the flavor and scent of coconut is very much still there. So....yes flavor and low smoke point. If you are looking for neutral flavored coconut oil with a higher smoke point, go buy the refined stuff. The reviewer who used this for skin care and ended up smelling like piña colada is absolutely right about the smell. If you don't want to smell like coconuts, use the refined stuff, not this.As far as this bottle goes, it's plastic, but it's nice and fresh. I'd bet they switched to plastic due to the fact that they ship this. As someone who has ordered a lot of things in glass jars, I can tell you that often doesn't end well. Plastic is fine as long as it isn't shipped by itself in a padded envelope.

This is the stuff! It’s so good! It is virgin so it hasn’t been refined and it has all of the wonderful properties of true coconut oil. It does have that coconut flavor as you would expect and it tastes great. I use it for so many things…baking, frying, oil pulling, diy skin care products, etc.
