Great item and great seller

Great storage option for my boots to keep them from flopping over and also allows for easy storage by the front door. I do wish there was a way to keep the boots from sliding forward; the weight of the boots makes them lean but I'm not really sure what else could be done about that since all boots have an uneven weight distribution. I think if there was a thicker holder at the tops of the prongs sticking up, it may help (think pool noodle material). That said, I like the black modern metal color and matte finish that it has. I haven't had any issues with it tipping over, its got a nice solid construction to it.

I love my boots. I don't love how much closet space they take up. And then pairs get pushed to the back and I forget they exist. I have a sunroom and we all store some shoes there, but I have too many to go out there and the space isn't good for upright shoes storage, so we have a few benches there with storage beneath.But it isn't good boot storage. My husband's boots take up some space, so I got this for my boots. I put it under a console table and it fits perfectly in the space. I can put a few pairs that I like for the week on the rack and rotate them out, freeing up space in my closet, as well as keeping my boots from being hidden and forgotten about. I've figured out that this works best pushed up against a wall, so that I can 'balance' the inside heels of the boots on the rod and push the backs of the boots against the wall, to keep them from sliding forward. This works well for sneakers and crocs too, but the shoes slide down the rod to be held in place by the toes. Which works for me really well. I put my tall boots and combat boots, zipped because otherwise they'll flop off, lol, on the back rods, two pairs of booties on the front row of rods, and my house slippers on a rod on the front. Now when I'm planning my work outfits for the week, I put my boots out and they're ready near the door in the morning. And when I get home from work, I have a spot to put them that doesn't turn into a boot/shoe mountain to deal with at the end of the week. I can put up my shoes and put on my crocs and go about my day.This went together fast. The instructions are super clear and all the pieces fit just fine. All the screw holes lined up and the allen key worked. This took about five minutes to put together, mostly because I was watching house hunters, lol, but all the time was spent turning screws. Once it's together and the screws tightened down, it's sturdy. It holds the weight of my shoes really well. There are also little pads to go on each bottom edge, which I put on last, instead of third like the instructions listed, just in case. Those pads keep this from slipping and from scratching my floors.This fits in perfectly and it works really well for me with keeping organized, saving me time, and keeping my home looking a lot less cluttered than before. It is a bit long, so you'd want to measure your space if you want this for a closet. It's also plenty tall. It won't fit under a low bench. It seems tall enough to handle boots that go to the knee easily. I would buy again. I might pick up one for my husband because he's a bit jealous now, lol.

This boot rack comes packed neatly in a plain cardboard box. The parts are organized into bags and the bags are printed with the letter designation that matches up with the instructions, so don't take everything out of the bags! The instructions are easy to follow with excellent illustrations. All the hardware and the tool you will need are supplied. This took me about 10 minutes to assemble. The rack is lightweight but the metal is thin. If you pick up the rack by one of the shoe posts it will bend at the base a bit.This rack is perfect for outdoors and garages if you have problems with mice or other pests making homes in your footwear. It makes them much less accessible. I do wish the rack was a bit taller to hold your boots a bit higher off the ground but I see they do also make a much taller version. The product title says Brown but this is indeed black.Good shoe rack, I can recommend it!

This product comes in a flat, basic box.Includes instructions and extra screws.easy to put together - i used a handheld electric screwdriver with a hex bitif you had to use an L key it would take a long timebolts have thread glue but still seem like they don't get very tightThe pegs need some sort of "boot filler" or the boots sag a lot. I may put some discs of foam on the posts to keep the boots in place better.this item is very large and I decided to start keeping my boots in my garage, as they are pretty dirty anyway.
