Perfect anchor chain. Great Quality.

I picked this up for my anchor to help knock it loose from snags and help prevent the anchor rope from chafing on structure. It works as it should, has good welds on the the links and thick galvanizing for lasting corrosion resistance. The chain is heavy duty and plenty strong enough to hold an anchor and a boat, plus it has enough weight to help knock the anchor loose. It's an anchor chain and it does it's job perfectly.

Chain is just fine, should do the job when I go out. One thing I did learn, Better Boats state they are an American company which I'm sure they are, however this chain came from China! Thought you ought to know.

Works great for the sand bar anchor.

The clevis has a threaded pin that will require some thread sealant for peace of mind. If the pin was longer a cotter pin could be used to help prevent the loss of whatever is attached to the end of the chain.As an anchor rode it's nice to have that additional layer of security. Because this clevis will not require frequent disassembly I'm going to apply some thread sealant to reduce the chances of the pin backing out and possibly causing the loss of a nice little anchor it's attached to.The water in our lake is known for its aggressiveness toward metal. It will be interesting to see how this chain holds up. If it has any issues I'll snap some pictures and update the review.
