Works as intended
Works as intended. I am using it for my exhaust brake in my 99 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 5spd 4x4. It does rattle. Mostly in 5th gear on the highway. I had to put a rubber band around it to stop this

Plunger switch rattles like crazy while driving
The switch is kinda cheap it works like it's supposed to but while your driving it rattles like crazy the plunger fits very loose in the switch. Had to put a rubber band on it to keep it quiet. the clamp that holds the unit too the shifter is great though

Terrible product
I don't ever write reviews but man this is straight up disappointing. I bought this for my w250 cummins and hate it. I built one of these myself with a 5 dollar switch at the hardware store and an outdoor extension cord and I should have just kept that instead of this 80$ trash. It rattles like no other which is very annoying. The switch work which is nice. Does the job I guess bit so did my 5$ setup and it rattles less.

exhaust brake switch that is easy to operate
i bought this to upgrade from a Toggle. the toggle was hard to find on the dash, and when i had solenoid issues, i could not tell which direction on the toggle was "on', and which direction was 'Off'.This switch mounts well, and is positive on and off.The switch does however rattle. the small plastic portion, and the rod that actuates the switch rattle in the larger housing of the switch. I mean rattles, non stop. This small detail is annoying. To resolve, i tried a lithium grease, and this seems to work, until it gets hot in the Cab, and then the grease thins, and allows the switch to rattle again. i now have a fat rubber band around shifter, and the switch rod.

works as designed
The switch works fine to activate my exhaust brake, but the darn thing buzzes and rattles like crazy when it is pulled out. The Jacobs switch I installed on a 97 dodge ram did not do this. This switch seems cheaply made compared to the Jacobs switch, which apparently has discontinued.

Rattles and some modifications required
It’s a simple push pull switch with two wire. It rattles when driving. The mounting bracket is not made for 1996 ram 3500. You need to drill the hole out it’s a 3/4” drill bit as it comes with a 5/8” hole. The wire that comes with it is rated for -40 and is very flexible. The switch does it’s job but for the price I was expecting more
