Idea is great, better off using a menstrual cup.
We conceived my son with keeping a menstrual cup on after sex after a year of TTC. Thought this would be better since it’s smaller but it’s even more painful to get in and never successfully got it in all the way. I’ve dealt with endo and pelvic floor issues in the past but the rim is SO stiff and hard. Looked up comments in a TTC group I’m in and no one was happy with it so far unfortunately.

Super simple to remove!
I was so excited to find the Conception Cup. It's reusable, which is a win for both my wallet and the planet. Plus, compared to all those messy lubes and whatnot, this is so much cleaner! Now, I'll admit, I was a little nervous about shoving something new "up there." But seriously, the cup is made from this super soft medical-grade silicone. It folds up nice and compact for easy insertion, and pops back open comfortably once it's in. Finding the sweet spot (cervix, anyone?) took a couple of tries, but the instructions were clear, and after that, it was a breeze.Removing it is just as easy. The little stem makes it a cinch to grab and pull out gently. No weird tugging or anything. Plus, clean-up is a snap with warm soapy water.

Comfortable
I don’t hate this product it does what it says but didn’t work first cycle. . We have been trying for over three years now. I am using it again on my last medicated cycle. Kind of bothers me how they say you can only use it six times, I definitely have used it more. It helps keep the sperm up there for sure. Hoping it will work on our second cycle of using it. I added the collection cup Frida sells as well! Doesn’t hurt to try and is cheaper than the fertility doctor. And it’s comfortable I don’t really feel it after it’s put in. Definitely practice before hand or have your partner help you get it up there.

Not a fit for me
Tried this among many things in desperation while TTC. This may not be a bad idea, but for me I couldn’t get it to insert properly, not sure if it was user error, but it was more trouble than it was worth

Not really worth it
I tried this for two months and it didn’t work both times. There’s no way to tell if it’s placed right And it’s messy when pulling it out. The idea is great I just wish it gave the results I wanted. The quality is good. To me it’s not worth $30, but hopefully it worth it to someone.

Reviews made me think it’d be difficult
Practicing to place it was much harder then using right after intercourse ( it popped right in painlessly afterwards ) and when practicing was more pain and discomfort and did it wrong . The directions show pop the cup like an umbrella then push in . HOWEVER IF you used the old birth control RINGS , this is a piece of cake to place and don’t need to pop it first . Otherwise follow directions of course , I’m just saying for others it’s easier the other way . 😀 wish me luck and I wish all of you luck !!!
