It is a little bit of work to assemble , but the instructions were simple and clear. I love that it came with extra parts. It fits perfectly in my entryway and it looks amazing! I have 3 toddlers and was worried about it not tilting but it’s very sturdy & pretty heavy. The storage pace is great and fits a lot of our shoes definitely get your moneys worth.

The directions are simply pictures, so it’s easy to make mistakes. The shelves are stuck in place once the doors go on, so if you’re considering a boot height shelf, omit one of them BEFORE putting on the doors. But! That said, this is really attractive and sturdy, while also delicately featured. LOVE IT!!!

I put this together myself, although it recommends two people. It wasn't hard, but it was a bit of a pain to line up the doors. The hinges have adjustment, so you can tweak it after installing. One of the handles arrived bent out of shape. I was going to ask for a replacement, but I think they want you to contact them directly (not through Amazon) and send them your address. If you are fine with this, then they will send you a replacement part. I'm not fine with that, so I didn't. Overall, the piece is very nice to look at. The wood isn't real wood, but it looks pretty nice. I got the brown with white doors and black metal legs. The design on the front of the doors is beautiful. There is plenty of space on top -- a small stack of books, a telephone (or small lamp if you no longer use a land line), a box of tissues, and a small pant will all fit. Inside, there are five shelves that hold anywhere from 3-4 pairs of shoes each; we have men's size 11 that fit just fine. You can probably slip in a pair of flip flops or slippers on their side to fit 5 pairs on a shelf. Since the unit stands on legs, there is space underneath if you are lazy and kick shoes off and slide them underneath. I use this by the front door to hold the shoes we take off so as not to track in dirt from the outside, but you could use it as dedicated shoe closet as well. I expect to use this for about 5 years; it will probably need to be replaced by this time (I give it 7 years if you are very gentle with it) and my style will probably change by then anywhere. Four stars overall.

I really love the way it looks, I just didn’t love putting it together lol. It looks high end and holds 20+ pairs of shoes including my husband’s size 14. No issues!

This is one of the better pieces of furniture I have bought from Amazon. Very easy to put together I used wood glue with all the screws and stuff, but it’s very solid and better piece of furniture. Happy with my choice

I purchased 4 of these. They clearly came from different manufacturers. Two were well made. These last two I ordered look completely different, the drilled holes don’t align and they do not assemble well. Unfortunate as the first two were nice. These two are terrible less than Walmart quality.

Read the directions first and be patient this is not real wood and will be unforgiving if you don’t pay attention to what you are doing. I did this by myself and it is heavy so I did the assembly where the cabinet was going to be. I loved the look and functionality of this. It held all my shoes. I wear a women’s size 7. Recommend this cabinet

The shoe cupboard has soft closing doors. The cupboard helps us keep shoes organized at our front door. I like the option to use the first shelf inside the cupboard as storage for keys and such. The cupboard is very attractive. Took time to put together, just take your time.
