Perfect!
I bought this for some oak furniture after one smell of the wax that was recommended. Yuck! I don't want something smelling like that in my bedroom, it'd give you a rotten headache breathing that in I think. I try to avoid products which I perceive as toxic and the wax I was offered had quite a few safety warnings on it - no thanks. After some research I found this. It seems to be made and sold by a small British company, which is always good. It arrived quickly and I opened the jar with some trepidation but seriously, it hardly smells at all, and the very faint smell it does have is totally inoffensive.I waxed two chests of drawers with it and it did a beautiful job. The grain is enhanced and after the second waxing six months later a soft sheen is starting to build up, and the furniture feels as beautiful as it looks. This weekend I waxed all the banisters and skirting on our landing with it. They are made of very old pine and hadn't been done for years. Turns out when they are waxed they are darker and much more beautiful. The sheen is not particularly noticeable after the first waxing but I'll do them again in a month or two and they'll look even better.I'm really happy to have found this stuff for all of the above reasons. The price is reasonable and it's lovely to work with. A little goes a long way so the jar is lasting well even with two coats on two chests of drawers and one coat on some very very dry banisters. Super impressed with this great product!

Exceeds all expectations.Great stuff.
Wonderful product, far better than expected. It has a honey like, delicate and subtle scent to it ,and I'm using it mainly to polish/finish small wooden items I make such as pendants and wood carvings,as well as small wooden seats.I don't like using chemical finishes ,and as I also sell things ,nut oil can't be used due to possible allergies so this is ideal.A little goes a long way ,and it really brings out the subtleties of the grain of the many natural woods I've tried it on.I was very quickly able to work out the amount needed for each wood as the quality of this beeswax (which is also great for softening your hands )leads to easy intuitive use ,though well written instructions are supplied.Beautiful box and jar too.It should last ne some time ,but when I do eventually run out ,I will be buying some more ,and I'll also be recommending it to friends.Thank you for making such a wonderful product ,where's the 6 star button?

The bees knees
Got this natural beeswax furniture wax to treat some oak floating shelves that I made. It really brings out the natural beauty of oak without any need for varnishing or staining. No noticeable smell. A little goes quite a long way, but still rather pricey for the amount of product, hence 4 stars rather than 5. Overall though, well pleased with the result.

Great stuff!
Found this product to be exactly what I was looking for. Used it on a sanded pine table top. The first coat soaked right in to the wood ( i recommend warming the wax for the first application on newly sanded wood) and the second started to bring out a lustre. No doubt I'll have to build up a couple more coats to bring out the full depth, but with no odour that I could detect this can be done any time!! English beeswax to boot ! Recommended!!

It does a very nice job but you need to buy something else too.
It is simple enough to use and only requires a very fine coating to bring out the grain in your wood. The instructions that come with the product recommend buying some mineral oil to apply to your wood first, so that's another £10. In the photo of the nest of tables the top table has been treated and the smaller one hasn't, can you spot the difference? However we also bought a second hand oak bed frame that was showing signs of wear and tear which showed a massive improvement after treatment. It was restored to good as new, with all blemishes removed.

Brilliant natural wax polish
I needed a wax polish to bring back the shine to our natural wood furniture so read some reviews and this polish ticked all the boxes. I’ve used various polishes and many have chemicals added but Yellow Bees is a natural bees wax and mineral oil mix which is brilliant for natural wood. It’s easy to use and leaves a beautiful shine. No chemical after smelling and no need to use gloves. I used a natural mineral oil (optional) before using Yellow Bees and the grain of the timber comes shining through. I bought two jars of Yellow Bees which goes quite a long way but I have a lot of natural wood furniture which needed a wax. This stuff did the job. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Wax
My dining room table was looking very distressed, I made several attempts to revive it and was in the end advise to use Beeswax. Not having used it before, I was at a loss at which product to purchase.I chose this particular one as the reviews were very good. I am so pleased I did. I followed the instructions that came with the polish and was surprisedWith the overall finish. I have had a couple of attempts leaving the wax for 20 mins before buffing and the result is amazing, looking like a new table.I have never used beeswax polish before, but will certainly in the future use this one. Yellow bees is a natural beeswax and mineral oil mixWhich is absolutely brilliant.I would recommend to anyone. I cannot fault this wax.
