I ordered a small due to my hips being 37" but I should have ordered a medium as this was pretty snug. The style is super cute but the length is pretty short it stops right at the bottom of my cheeks. I love the wash color. The material was little rough so maybe it will soften after washing. I would maybe size up if your bordering the size cutoff.
