I've come to like canvas better than leather for a backpack, and this feels like a good quality canvas. nice and thick. The draw string for the top pocket is nice and heavy, so I don't foresee having an issue with it. Just enough pockets to fit my EDC for my commute on the train, but a few more/bigger would be handy. The included bag is a nice touch; I already have a Dopp kit, so it is nice to fit my cables and chargers,I wish the pockets had YKK zippers. Maybe would be overkill, but getting the flimsier zippers replaced is a big pain. The all pockets could be bigger. I have a 3" water bottle, so it doesn't fit in either of them. These things seem to be not unique to just this brand, so small fry complaints that shouldn't dissuade most people.I didn't want a huge back to carry around, so this is perfect. I carry a 16" MacBook, a large iPad, a hard GoPro case, a 32 oz water bottle, lots of cables and chargers, a folding laptop riser, a keyboard and trackpad, and the usual keys, wallet, etc, and I still have a decent bit of space for more. The drawstring closure is great, so I don't have my computer and things fall out in the middle of the subway station, as has happened before with a zippered bag (hence the desire for YKKs). I haven't seen how waterproof it is, but it seems like it will be fine, and the leather flap that goes over the top enclosure should keep the water out too.It falls apart, I'll be right back to update this review, but I don't see that happening.tl;drIf you're looking at this bag, buy it. It comes with tons of storage space and pockets including some zipper pockets. The padded laptop storage sleeve is a plus and the bag looks pretty good overall. It comes pretty flat and will need fluffed up which can be easily done just by loading it up for a while. The leather components seem to be pretty average grade and need worked to be soft. Zipper hardware is an average no-name brand and looks like it will hold up but there are better options out there. My biggest complaint is the lack of padding on the straps, it comes with some but not near enough for what the bag could possibly hold. If you’re looking for a light bag in this style it’s a good choice but if you need a bag for hiking or heavy loads you might want to look elsewhere.

Got this bag to use on my motorcycle. Very well designed! Great space with all the little pockets throughout. The style looks way better than expected at this price point! Very much worth it! Great looking and functional backpack
