I should have paid more attention to the title description, which says "Punk jewelry, hip hop necklace". I just wanted a 24-inch gold chain, a bit thicker than my dainty gold chains. This chain is substantially thicker. I wasn’t familiar with this style called Byzantian. It's thick and boxy. Has a nice weight, but is chunkier than I expected, and looks too heavy. But if hip hop is the look you're going for, this is a good choice because it’s gold plate over stainless steel, at a good price for the 24” length.

This is a really nice chain. It comes in a nice box, which makes perfect for gifting. It looks more expensive than it was, which is awesome! It looks like solid gold. The clasp is quite secure. I don't worry about it falling off by accident. My daughter pulled hard on it when I was picking her up and it didn't break. It's not heavy or clunky. For the price I'm impressed by the quality and look. It's a great value.
