Classy, well-made, comfortable white gold hoop earrings
UPDATE: 8/6/15-I have now been wearing these earrings day and night since I received them for Christmas last year. I even wore them water skiing (not intentionally haha) and they didn't fall out! These are seriously the comfiest, lightest, easiest to wear earrings ever. And they're still just as shiny and beautiful as the day they arrived!My husband bought these for me for Christmas, and I absolutely love them! They are super comfortable, lightweight, shiny and just the right size for everyday wear. Some people commented that the earrings were smaller than those shown in the picture, but the picture of these earrings on the woman's ear is absolutely 100% accurate. And if you're really concerned about the sizing, all the measurements are listed in the description... just measure them! :) Or pull a quarter out of your purse and look at it, because these earrings are exactly the size of a quarter, and they are about as thick as a headphone cord. Hope that helps. I love this size,not teeny tiny, and not too big, because as the old adage goes, "the bigger the hoop the bigger the ho." They deserve the Five Stars
I bought these hoop earrings in white gold. At $91 Amazon special. They are one inch diameter. Which is about the diameter of a quarter. They they have the type of clasp where you put the needle through your ear and push the needle down into the clasp. They are plain gold round earrings. These have now become my new favorite earrings. They were over ten dollars more expensive in white gold. But that’s fine because I prefer and only wear white gold. They are not as big as I would have preferred but these are great for every day use. Once I put them on I never took them off. They are fourteen K which I know is true because I am allergic to metals that are not Gold. Even stainless steel gives me a reaction, not as intense as Silver but definitely noticeable. At first I was hesitant to buy them because I was afraid they wouldn’t be real gold and the deal just seemed too good to believe. But when they got hear I put them to the test right away. Any thing under ten K also gives me a reaction. But these didn’t, so they passed the test. A few weeks later I took them to a pawn shop and sure enough they were fourteen K white gold earrings. The clasp worried me a little since all other reviewers seemed to have a problem with the earrings falling out and getting lost. That has always been a problem for me. The clasp was hard to put the needle into so that’s a good sign, I actually had to push pretty hard. The harder it is to clasp on then the the harder it is to come out. But after a few weeks I noticed one of them wasn’t as hard to push through the clasp, so it worried me. That one earring has fallen out about three times now, not on it’s own. One time it got tangled in my hair and when I pulled my hair back, I did it so fast the earring fell out. The other two times while doing my hair I’ve put my finger in the earring and while moving my hand I’ve yanked it out. So it’s definitely taken some force for it to come undone. I only mention it because the other earring even though the same has happened it hasn’t come undone, it actually just yanks on my ear and it hurts a little. I don’t think it’s such a problem though because they definitely don’t come undone on their own and fall out. These are the best earrings I have owned in years. I’m not very careful ever since I was a little girl I always ended up with missing earrings. Because I can only wear gold and I would lose them my Dad finally quit buying me as much gold earrings by the time I was fifteen. He took one more chance with me when I was eighteen, but I lost one again. So now that I’m twenty one these are the first pair of earrings I have bought myself and I haven’t lost one. I don’t think it’s because I’m careful though, I think it’s the clasp that is very good. I definitely recommend these, and have now even considered buying them in yellow gold for me and sibling of mine. These are absolutely great. Now my ears won’t close up. It was a great deal and buy. They definitely deserve the five stars.

Good Buy
I have been shopping around for 1" 14K white gold hoops for a while. I was trying to keep the price under $100 and looked at many online sources. I bought a pair from Macy's for $89 that were very flimsy, not shiny, and basically junk. I had already bought a pair of Amazon Collection 1/2" 14K white gold hoops and was very happy with them, but the only pair of 1" hoops available at Amazon at that time had weird flat hammered ear posts that the reviews said were too wide for comfort. Then these earrings showed up with normal ear posts and I gave them a try.I am very pleased with these earrings. They are substantial (as substantial as a 2mm wide earring can be), the ear wires click solidly into and out of the clamp so I am not at all afraid of them falling out, and they are very shiny and pretty. They are true to size. Highly recommended for the $99 I paid.
