Great sewing kit
My 11 year old daughter has recently gotten into sewing and this was an inexpensive addition to her collection. This is not a kiddie kit though so it would be great for anyone. It is nice and compact and has a nice variety of colors. The thimble is full sized so adults don’t need to worry.

Good kit with a lot of unnecessary thread.
I enjoyed this kit. it's useful, the scissors are sharp and it's a good size. However, there does not need to be that many different spools of thread. I assume the reason it comes with so many is to appear like a good deal, but there is no need to have that many colors. There is barely any thread on each spool because of this, and you end up running out of the colors you need and ending up with a bunch of random colors that nobody would reasonably use. Half the time seams aren't even visible, so what's the point of the like three different shades of one color included? If you want to embroider, get embroidery floss because thread is not made for it. The pencil is useless and I don't really know what the point of it is. Same with the magnifying glass, when will I ever use that? Anyways, for what it is it's a good kit. The major flaw in it is that there is a deceptively small amount of thread.

This is a great sewing kit!
I have found this sewing kit to be very helpful - for a quick button, or a small rip in my jeans - it has already been more than worth the price I paid for it. This kit has 18 colors of yarn, multiple needles, and pins, measuring tape, scissors, seam ripper and more. Very nice.

Nice little set with a good selection of thread colors
I use this around the house mostly. I rarely need a sewing machine for repairs if I catch the problem early and this little set is dandy. It is also a nice size for traveling. And I like the zippered fabric case better than the plastic clam shell style cases many of these sets come in. Less prone to breakage. Versatile but pretty small. The only problem I ran into was TSA making me take out those incredibly dangerous scissors if it were going to stay in my carry on. From then on I put this in my checked luggage. Problem solved. Seriously. Those scissors got called out? I can see myself swiftly hacking through the flight deck door with them and threatening the flight crew. Snort. Otherwise a nice little sewing kit.

It's Got Everything!
Bought this as a starter kit for our 7 yo who is getting into sewing and I find myself using it for repairs as well. It has all the bits and pieces you will need to make a mend or repair. Great for traveling as well, the whole kit is super small.

Satisfied for the cost
It includes a diverse range of thread colors, though typically, only a few, such as white, black, tan, and brown, are essential for most sewing projects. I would have preferred to see larger spools of these standard colors, even if it meant excluding some less frequently used ones. The metal components are delicate and made of soft metal. I encountered an issue with one of the safety pins, which easily bent with minimal pressure. While I haven't utilized the needles yet, they may share the same subpar metal quality. If you anticipate engaging in extensive sewing, investing in a higher-quality product is advisable. However, this set might be suitable for basic needs like button sewing or handling emergencies.

Good value for the Money
This is a very nice sewing kit. It contains almost everything you will need to sew. The only difficulty is in getting the starter thread out. The thread is wound nicely and the tail end is showing but it’s tucked under the wound thread that it’s difficult to find and unwind it. I needed a magnifying glass to find where it was tucked under the main thread. This can be very difficult for the visually challenged. Tony
