Lovely dining room table
We paid the extra £16 for the table and chairs to be assembled and are very pleased that we did. The table is lovely, it extends easily and comfortably sits 6 people.

I'm disgusted with the table
The two extensions do not pull out fully. The legs seem to stop this happening. I needed the dining room set for guests over the Christmas. Amazon cannot collect the suite, won't accept just the table, till Feb 1st. I have no room for two suites. Have contacted Hallowood, and they cannot deliver till after Christmas, and that would mean buying another.

Extension leaf faulty and sticks very badly.
Table is OK but one leaf sticks very badly and even the lads who put it together had difficulties opening and closing it. Supplier agreed to replace table if it didn't improve in eight weeks - which of course it didn't, but supplier then declined to deconstruct it for return, or construct a replacement, despite us paying for this service. This left us in an awkward situation so we decided we had to keep it 'by default'.Couldn't recommend either the table, or the service unfortunately.

Solid furniture
Easy assembly, strong solid piece of furniture, well packaged, would definitely recommend. Great value for money

Nice Table, Reasonably Priced
The table is actually nicer than I thought it would be. But make sure you have your own spanners, the one provided in the box is useless but all you need to put this table together is one spanner. Its very easy.Its a nice solid table, the legs, extensions and main table pieces are all the same colour. The extensions don't move/wobble at all but it is quite heavy, however and not the easiest to move around even on a laminate floor.To me, the surface seems good quality (referring to other reviews) but I may put another couple of coats of varnish on it, just in case). It doesn't seem like a laminate surface, it seems to be a solid wood table.It seems a very good quality well made table that will last years and looks like it cost double what it did.
