great for improving vertical jump
I got these for my daughter who plays volleyball and is 5'3 tall. She wants to improve on her vertical jump. This offers good resistance and its easy enough for her to put it on on herself.

Not height adjustable
I got these for my daughter that plays volleyball and is currently training to improve her vertical. This type of resistance training has been used for the teams but they were adjustable for height. This particular one is made for one height only and provides no resistance for her. (She is 5'2). This has to be made for possibly 5'8 or taller because I'm 5'6 and not feeling the resistance either.

Nice innovative way to strengthen legs but limited with resistance adjustments.
The biggest downfall of this is the limitation of the resistance adjustment. It comes in a set length with no adjustable way to alter the length, so your height will determine the amount of resistance you will feel. I am around 5 foot 8 inches and I feel the resistance for about the last 25%. Of standing up. So if you squat all the way down, its very loose with no resistance. 90 degree squat still no resistance, 75% to 100% stranding is when I feel the resistance. Same issues following when walking and other workouts. With an adjustable band to give people control of resistance depending on their height would of made this more ideal.

Excited for this item.
So I've always been a jumper. But as I have now hit my mid 40's the explosiveness has waned. Of course we don't stay young forever, and those physical gifts will fade, but part of this also has to do with a lack of physical activity on my part.With some focused effort I feel like I can push back against the some of that fade. This kit combined with some exercises it you can find around the world will help build that explosiveness back a bit. I can still get up to the rim when playing basketball, hoping to get a bit higher more consistently.The default will get you to a good place and I have tested other bands I own and those seem to work well too, so I can ramp up the intensity as time goes.I did see that another person was concerned about the lack or resistance at their height and that seem like a legitimate concern, I am 5'11" and feel the resistance is present through a full range of motion. You may be able to do some adjustments if you have a shorter frame or shorter legs, but it works fine for me.Here's hoping for being able to hold off Father Time just a little bit longer.
