3M Clear Paint Surface Protection Vinyl Wrap 2 Inch Wide Tape Roll (2 Inch x 84 Inch)

I love this product. I use it on the front of my car to prevent chips and it’s easy to apply and does the job. Worth every penny.

Used this to protect the surface of a steel weight rack. For some reason the weight rack had a slightly texture coating like grip tape. The texture would eventually wear as well as the coating on the weights. This tape worked flawlessly to eliminate the friction!

The tape is great, but as others mentioned, the edges are not cut clean which makes it not as seamless when you apply.I'm also skeptical that I got 96" as I ordered. Can't say for sure because I didn't measure, but I went through the full roll just covering bag/mount spots on my bicycle. But maybe I just used a lot!

Use this tape to help protect my bike frames in high sweat/friction zones. Use soapy water to place the product where you want it and squeegee out the water to adhere it to the surface. After one season I've had zero issues with the product and it has kept the painted surface underneath clean. Good product!

As others noted the edges are not clean and have little bits hanging off of them. I put it on the bottom side of my bikes down tube so I wasn’t that concerned. If trying to cover something that is more visible I would looks elsewhere.

Unless you want to deal with trimming edges yourself, stay away from this product. It was obviously cut from a larger roll using a very dull blade.

I put this on my Mountain Bike top tube and down tub and chainstays. It is clear and shiny and looks good. So far it is very durable (one year of riding).

Product is a bit hard to apply to vehicle where there are bends or curves.

Para comenzar la cinta es demasiado delgada, dudo que proteja de un golpe pero lo peor es que los bordes estan mal terminados de tal manera que al colocarla en un auto negro se ven perfectamente las irregularidades (a la izquierda en la foto). Lo esperaría de una marca asiática desconocida y de muy bajo precio pero para tener la marca 3M impresa fue una total decepción.

Great for bike chain stays and other frame rub points, like under bag straps. Easy to cut and apply. Has stayed on and worked fine for a month so far.

Very useful for protecting my bicycle from scratches.

As other stated, the product wasn't cut well and its edges aren't clean. Can be cut clean with scissors.Is the 3M stuff and sticks well, as expected.
