Fills using a funnel with a narrow end which means you need patience to fill them. The design would be much improved by making the filling hole much larger so that you could fill direct from a tap. This would make filling and emptying faster, would make it easier to fill to the top and would mean that you didn't have to carry a funnel.The weights fit securely with a spin lock, and they pack to a small light size that is suitable for travel. However on a trip where you are staying somewhere different each night the slow filling gets really annoying.I'd have rated them lower except that I don't know of any better alternative.
