Good buy!
Had to bend the top tubes slightly, to fit flush (not ideal, but not impossible) but it plugged right in no issues! First time replacing a fuel pump took 8 hours on the barn floor, overall I’d recommend it.things you’ll need:3/8 & 5/16 fuel line tool (oriley’s $9.67 lifetime warranty) Push the tool into the fitting, then pull the fitting towards the tool, then away from you. To remove the line. The larger line will have an internal spring fitting (the return). The smaller line (the feed) will have what appears to be a cut piece of a band clamp. This is an oem clip and can be reformed & re-used.tank strap bolts:13mm box end open end (bolt head)15mm deep well (nut)(I ended up using an angle grinder)Replaced with 4 full thread 3/8” shank 2” length bolts 2 washers per bolt & a nylon locking nuts ($10.67) at Ace Hardware, bolt & nut require a 9/16” wrench & socket.my year 1996:did not require the provided pigtail, just plugged in.1996 xl rwd 302w rear steel tank 18gal

Improvement needed on many things
The plug adapter you replace the original one with is not color coated to match the wiring on the truck.That's just wrong. It caused me to f"" "" up the gas gauge,Got the fuel pump working tho, that was the important thing. It just caused me a headache and some much needed time I needed to use elsewhere

Wired backwards from factory
The price is good and the quality and completeness of the kit was encouraging however the splice made in the factory assembly was wired backwards where the red was spliced to black and vice versa. After installation this caused the pump to run backwards and would have been a royal pain if we had completely reinstalled the tank without testing. I checked my wiring against multiple sources both videos and pictures. I am an electrician. Before you put the tank back up, run the pump by turning the key on and direct the fuel into a coffee can to make sure you have flow. It did fix our issue and builds 45 lbs of fuel pressure.
