This stuff really helps your doggie!!
Shiny coat, less itch and general better health really does result from adding this product (as directed) to your dog's diet. The pump dispenser works well, and gets almost all of the product out of the bottle.Smell? Not horrible really - but very fishy.Price... Uh, yeah, it's expensive IMO

My dog loves this stuff!
My dog sometimes has an issue eating her dry food. She is getting older and has started having issues with dry skin and a dull coat. She doesn't like to eat unless mom or dad is standing next to her, and even then it's an all day thing, coming and eating a little bit at a time but only when one of us is standing right next to her... but not when I put this stuff on her food! She is ready to chow down regardless of if I'm there or not. It has made her coat way more shiny and healthy looking and I do believe it's made her less itchy as well. Either way she really loves it, we also sometimes give a pump or 2 on our cat food and all 3 of our cats seem to really like it too.

Dog loves it, helps his coat
I bought this for our 5 mo old Husky pup - he's had some sort of skin condition causing a couple balding patches on his muzzle - not completely bald but enough such that you can see it. The vet said they look more like an injury than anything else as the underlying skin isn't typical of mange (something else that could cause balding), but he's had them for weeks (and an injury shouldn't take that long to heal). The vet said to rule out mange we'd have to do a skin scraping, which given the location and the fact he's a crazy Husky would mean he'd need to be sedated (don't want to poke him in the eye with a scalpel I guess), something we'd likely just reserve for when he's neutered (another month at least). So in the meanwhile I bought this.First, he loves it. At home we call it his "gravy" - a single squirt of this in his kibble and some swishing around in the dish to distribute it and he's good to go - he will usually scarf all the food down at once. My elderly dog loves it as well (a 16 year old schnoodle).Second, while it doesn't smell like flowers, I don't really sense a smell to it at all at least casually (I'm not purposefully trying to smell it in the bowl), so I think comments about smell are overblown.Lastly, his skin condition seems to be improving - he's been using this for I'd say a month and a half or so, and the condition is improving but certainly not overnight, so who knows if this additive helped it, or if it's just healing on its own. His coat is changing as well, seems to shed less; Huskies have a crazy thick coat to begin with (such that it's basically impossible to see his actual skin).A word of warning - when we first started him on it, it gave him the runs for a week or 2. Not crazy explosive ones where he couldn't control it, but certainly loose when he was doing his business outside.

Works, but whew it smells!
This salmon oil seems to work well, the dogs coats are nice and shiny, and they seem to like the taste. My only complaint is the smell. It’s really really strong. I have a doodle and the scent sticks to the fur on her face. The next time I need fish oil, I’ll look to another brand that hopefully smells less - which sadly means it was processed more. It’s a tough trade off.

Something help my buddy. Can't hurt & likes it!
My pooch was starting to get hip or leg problems where he could hardly walk or get up on something. I discontinued store-bought food and started making my own chicken and vegetable dog food. Adding supplements such as vitamins, turmac, cats claw, loosamine HCI, MSM and this fish oil. He has lost some weight and is walking and playing so much more! That was two years ago. It's a pain in the butt to make his dog food which I make in big batches and freeze in small containers. He used to eat from a bowl that was constantly full now he gets two meals a day. So with all the things I've done including out in the fish oil I feel so much better knowing that he feels so much better! Any likes the taste. I used to make sure I mixed it in. One day I forgot and just gave it to him afterward and he loved it.

Back to 5 stars...dispenser WORKS!
My five year old dog has used this product since he was a puppy, and his skin is free of dandruff and his coat is silky and shiny. So why did I previously give only a ONE star review? It's because I want to get the attention of the manufacturer... and because I frequently only read 1 star and 5 star reviews when I am researching a new product. The pump dispenser on prior shipments had been AWFUL! With my last shipment in order to get the pump to work I had to completely unscrew the lid, drip this expensive oily product into my dog's bowl to try not to waste it, then wash the entire dispensing mechanism with soapy water in order to firmly grasp it without having it rotate in my hand, and then hold the stem while twisting the top until the nozzle finally popped up. In the past I have even resorted to transferring my old dispenser to the new bottle (not a great idea). I am glad I decided to give the product another try rather than switch to a competitor with a different pump configuration. This last order the dispenser worked great, so I'm changing my review to an enthusiastic 5 stars. I don't know if the manufacturer actually addressed the issue or this was due to random luck.
