Make sure it fits your machine I had to add custom home made spacers on the outside of my wheels to squeeze them in for these to work. They are way fast to.

I purchased this when my son’s Jeep was making a loud sound coming from the motors on the wheels. The model that we used it for was the 40 volt Cobalt jeep. These replacement assembly parts worked great! I was not able to get the parts from Cobalt so I figured I’d take a chance on these instead of purchasing a new car. So far so good…🤞it’s as if my son got a brand new car!!

The gearbox/motors fit well in the toy that they were going in, and powered up initially. However, within a few minutes of operation the circuit breakers were tripping and we found that one of the motors had short circuited. I checked the gearbox and they were fine, they are even built well, but a faulty motor caused the whole system to not work. I installed after the return period is over, so I am SOL on this purchase. Not giving 1 star because the product does seem good, just poor QC on one motor caused it to fail and this toy will not fuction with only one functional side.

Good replacement for jeep, jeep is a lot faster now. Kids luv it.

I upgraded the battery of my son’s ride on toy from 12v to 20v and after moderate use, I could smell the motor running hot. This is a smell that you know quickly if you have ever been into the RC world. This new kit is rated for 24v and handles the 20v battery that we use without the burning smell of a struggling motor.

The media could not be loaded.  Got these to replace another 24V 40000rpm gearbox that failed after 30 min.Installation was a breeze on the Best Choice Products Jeep. I had previously upgraded the electronics and wiring to run on 24V with a pair of Dewalt 20V batteries.I added in 15A auto-reset breakers on the power input of the motors along with some motor cooling fins.The motors work great. Performance is considerably more powerful than the original 12V motors, and speed is only a little faster. I jogged besides my son while he was going full speed and GPS said I was traveling ~8mph, which is plenty fast for this thing. The most important part is the additional torque. Now there is no bogging going up hills, around the grass, etc.I did keep a close 'eye' on the motors, feeling how hot they were getting after extended running, and they only ever got warm to the touch. He has driven around for a total of roughly 1hr, so I will report back with any issues as he drives more inthe future.So far, these motors get a 5 star rating.
