My grandsons loved this experience. My niece also loved it. Easy to understand yet gives a great experience to the kids.

Gifted this to my 3- and 5-year-old nephews. Kind of a tough gift because it's messy and the eggs have to soak, and kids want to play with it RIGHT NOW. If that's not possible, it's a little lack-luster. Once they did play with it, the 5-year-old was able to dig out the dinos himself but the 3-year-old needed help. They were very intrigued about the prospect of it being glow in the dark, and did love the black light that it came with. As others have said, the dinos are very small and this is quite messy.

I have bought other digging eggs before. These are much easier. Once you remove the purple outside it is like chalk. My 3 year old grandson loves dinosaurs and loved these. The tools that come with aren’t so great but we broke pieces off and he loved to brush the stuff away to reveal the dinosaur. They come in different colors and do glow in the dark. He could not wait to move to the next one. He was so excited to see which dinosaur was next. It was a bit messy, like using sidewalk chalk. We used apaper plate and that helped the clean up. Would buy again.

Kids had a lot of fun

Loved the kit itself! But, one of the eggs had no dinosaur in it. My daughter was completely disappointed cause she didn’t have a full dozen. Please make sure there is actually a dinosaur in every egg…
