I have tried so many solutions on my grout in my shower, and this by far is the best at completely erasing the orange/black mildew and mold in a matter of hours. In the photos you can see where I've applied the gel (clear and colorless) and the areas without the gel that still have mildew/mold and the difference is amazing. In the picture that was only 1.5 hours in with no scrubbing and it's already erased the discoloration. No damage to my grout that I noticed.It initially does not have an odor but after awhile it does have a chemical scent to it likely as it is reacting with the mildew and mold to clean the area. Highly recommend to wear gloves while cleaning the gel off. The brush works well for grout as it's the perfect size.Highly recommend this for cleaning your shower tile grout!!! It works!!

You'll get two 5oz bottles with two application nozzles and a scrub brush. The nozzles have a screw cap, so just twist off before use. This stuff does work on mold, and no reason it shouldn't. After all, the ingredients include sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide; a.k.a. bleach and lye. The gel is very viscous and stays in place, even vertically. There's no odor initially but after it sits for a while you may detect the bleach aroma. I found after about half an hour it already began to work on most of the mold, directions say leave for 3-10 hours. I wiped off the residue and rinsed with water. All good.I'm not quite sure about some of the information on the listing though. "Non-toxic, Eco-friendly and safe around children and pets" are not things I normally associate with bleach nor lye. And "zero scrubbing" yet a scrub brush is included. Or the picture of this stuff on someone's bare hand yet it says to wear rubber gloves. Maybe I'm just nitpicking...

I have tried numerous cleaners, both natural and store-bought, on the tile in my shower and had all but given up on getting the mold out.I am so glad I ordered this cleaner because it actually works AND I didn’t even have to scrub it!You can see the difference in my photos. I applied a little gel overnight - about 13 hours - and this morning it's gone. This was even without scrubbing (there is a two-sided brush included but if I don’t need to use it, I’m not gonna).This was so easy, just putting the gel on, letting it sit overnight, and then rinsing it off. I am very, very pleased with this product.

I applied this gel to some cracks and crevices of my shower where it was a bit moldy. It didn't work exactly like bleach in that the dark spots actually seemed to get much darker upon application. It was only when I left it alone and returned later that it had done its job. The instructions repeatedly beg you to dry the area before application, and I'm not sure why. It's not clear why this would make any difference. But now that I've had a successful test, I am going to go back and do the whole shower. Seems to work well.

The product works well for its purpose, but some of the things mentioned or listed leave me with some concerns. It sticks well to vertical surfaces, and isn't difficult to apply, and cleaned off the mildew surfaces I had without issue.The first thing I found of concern is the ingredients list. Mold inhibitor, sodium hypochlorite (bleach), sodium hydroxide (lye), gel agent, followed by "etc." I've never had problems just using straight up bleach to clean, I know what's in it and how to handle it. An ingredients list that doesn't properly list everything out is a little concerning to me.My other concern is a statement in the product description "Formulated with non-toxic ingredients, our black mold shower remover gel is safe for use around children and pets." If I recall correctly, bleach and lye are not technically toxic by definition, but I certainly wouldn't call them safe to use around children and pets. Some of the instructions on the actual product box are also a bit counter to it. "Keep out of children's reach." "Wear rubber gloves before use." I wouldn't really call this safe to use around children and pets, it's something to use with caution. I would hope people would always be cautious with cleaning chemicals, but there's always the chance misleading statements can create dangerous situations.

My shower has never looked so clean. This kit comes with everything you need to get your tiles and grout sparkling once again.I applied the gel solution to dry tiles/grout, let it sit overnight and scrubbed like crazy with the included brush the next morning while showering. Everything was whiter and brighter, no mold, no mildew no more grimy shower!

This seems to work well for grout. It makes it whiter or at least lighter in color. But some other spots I tried, like along the floor on my bathroom, it didn’t seem to do much.One thing that puts me off about this product is that the instructions are all over the place:- In one section it tells you to wait a certain number of hours, the other tells you a different number. It is also full of typos and misspelled words.- It tells you to use a rubber glove, but then it gives you a plastic one.- it also says just to wipe it but then it says to scrub it.Just confusing. Anyway, I don’t know if I would get this again

This says it is a grout cleaner and I tried it, according to the directions. I let it sit overnight and I did not notice any difference the next day. I tried it again on an area that had more stain than mold and it still looks the same, but the tile it got on, is shiny and clean. Not sure about grout cleaning, but it does a nice job on cleaning off grime and soap scum. I also think the tip is too large, it came out too fast and thick, so it got all over the place.
