Great photos and tons of info
When I pre-ordered I was excited to learn more about AP the company and the catalog they produced with some information on the designers but when my copy arrived I was stoked at the number of photos, their quality and by the sheer amount of information packed into it. The features on the different designers was predictably informative but I also really appreciated learning about what inspired the start of the company.

Great background information!
I have been a collector of this pottery for +25 years. This is a great resource book to provide a history and background for people to know more about the company but also the vision of the company's founders. A must have for any collector of AP or even a fan of mid century modern design and ceramics.

Beautifully done, a gem of information and photography
My friends and I have collected Architectural Pottery for more than 3 decades. We've owned dozens of pieces and catalogs and had even visited the founder, Max Lawrence, on several occasions at his residence. I thought we pretty much knew everything there is to know about A/P...boy was I wrong. This long awaited book exceeded expectations. It's a wealth of information and beautifully photographed. Many thanks Chavkin, Head, & Lauria for your efforts...you nailed it!

incredible book
I long time coming book about a design changing pottery company. The book goes into depth about the pottery that was a favorite in the Mid Century Modern movement. Preferred by the architects Neutra, Lautner, Koenig, and Ellwood. Lots of great vintage photos and new photos.
