It works, but just like another review said, it doesn't fit right. If I wanted to do fabrication work, I would have just made my own.

I bought this cover in a pinch to finish a head gasket job on my 2000 honda civic gas saver. I figured how back can it really be after reading all the bad reviews about it not fitting. Most that have written bad reviews were being nice!!!! This part is complete garbage. I got it to fit after carving on it and test fitting it probably a dozen times!! Don’t buy this part it isn’t worth the money no matter how little it costs.

The finish is nice - it seems sturdy and well made, and it would be nice to be able to see the pulleys and belts while the engine is running.It doesn't quite fit though, which is really frustrating. I removed the valve cover on my engine to insert this into the end, and it's not quite the right shape to fit under there securely - the upper lip is not wide enough. That wouldn't be a problem if it fitted well at the bottom, but it doesn't fit securely above the engine mount at the bottom - the gap isn't quite wide enough.It's a great idea, and if you really wanted to shave it down it would fit and look good. I was hoping for something that was easier to fit.
